okay, i know its areally noob question, butr i just started of with mapping again, i'm trying to create a simple door that u can open with an angle of, lets say 90*, so just a simple door, i found this turtorial but it says i need to create brush, i just can't find out wtf it is :))

one more question, i read the turt on this site ( nice one tbh ) i create a func_door_rotating, i tied it to an entity etc etc and also i made a button, but now when i start the map, the button works but the door doesn't open, it doesnt even open when i walk against it ,

Uh, did u name the door and then have the button targeting that name? Did u set the door to the y or x axis? Im just asking the simple questions that people screw up on lol

If the door has a name then it won't open when you touch it. Take away the name and try again.

ok... Seems to me your entity settings are messed up. Check the angle the door is supposed to rotate. Double-check the name of the func_door_rotating and the target of the func_button. One Character wrong and the door will have a name (--> Locking it) but the button can't target it because the values don't match. Check the origing brush as well.
