Can you guys help me? I'm trying to find a non-torrent download of 3ds max, a friend is trying to get me into modelling. Can you please help me find a download? I can't find a single one.

The trial off of autodesks website is your best bet, your second best bet is to use GMAX, it's pretty good for modelling also.

XSI mod tool is what I use for HL2. Easy to use. Made some good models so far.

We do NOT allow discussion of piracy of any sort of software on this site. If you continue to do so you will be banned. I refer you to Wikipedia's page on the matter which lists a number of free tools that can be used without pirating software. Blender is the most well-known free modelling tool.
