I found a way to make a wall bulletproof.

By using func_breakable.

Yeah now you wonder how??

Well i just set the material type to unbreakable glass then i set a very high strength on the enetity and awp could not hit the hostage. If it does not work put 2 together.

Trow grenade = Glass goes break.

Add a thin NULL wall in front too.

And why should somebody do this when you can simply use a transparent texture on a brush or func_detail wall?

Bullets from all B4, B5 guns and B14 gun go trough the wall in CS1.6.
That means, making a thick wall is the only thing you can do to stop the bullet. But in some cases that is not an option.

What crisis seems to have found out is a way to make a thin wall bullet proof, which is an awesome find if i may add. Gonna test it.

Ah guys i was so excited about his. i dunno why but in a map it was working i swear but used only awp and deagle for testing in that map.

But then i did some more test in another map (that i made) and it seemed that it doesn't work :(

I am so disappointed but you can continue to test stuff cause i did not fully test out. maybe it uses less walls to stop the bullets i did not try that test out.

I don't remember, but wasn't there a clip texture specially designed for bullets?

It goes trough 3 layers maximum.
So, making a 3 layered wall should give maximum protection, regardless the thickness.

@ Striker

Nope, just to keep the player away, aka, normal clip texture.

Well that considerably reduce the size of a bullet proof wall if you are right stojke.

No, only the weapons that go trough a wall, and since AWP can go trough only 3 targets, and tested, and it is the most powerful gun in the game, 3 layer walls should work fine.

Even if its 1 unit thick.

The weapons that go trough the wall are:

1 - Desert Eagle
4 - Clarion / Defender
4 - AK 47 / M4A1
4 - Scout sniper
4 - BullPup / Kreig
4 - sg550 / g3sg1
4 - AWP
5 - M249

I heard func_button, button_target or some specific entity block bullets.
