I was wondering... if anyone wanted to be a helpful chap.. and make a few static models for me! :)

I'm working on a updated version of an old HL1 map that I made awhile back. I've decided to port the map to the new Black Mesa game. (As I am thuroughly satisfied with BM being the spiritual successor to HL1, even more so than HL2)

HOWEVER.. After reveiwing the modeling tutorials and searching around the web, I can't seem to find XSI or it's source specific patches for download... ANYWHERE!

ANYWAY... If someone would like to help out (all I can really offer as compensation is in-game credit... maybe trade a few emotes/backgrounds on steam or something) That would be really appreciated.

I don't know EXACTLY everything I will need yet.. but the jist is a candy filled wonderland... so... roughly things like:
  • Giant Scooped Icecream Bulbs
  • Giant Lolly-Pops
  • Patches of Flowers, Cat-tails (lake reeds), lilly-pads
  • Orange trees with purple and green leafs
  • Giant fluttering Butterflies
  • Giant Sugar Gum-Drops
  • Giant Gummy Bears
.... maybe other sorts of things as I progress through the map and think of them.

Let me know if you are bored and interested! Thanks a bunch!

Oh, right.. if you would rather contact me through steam than on here.

Sounds fun.
I made a tutorial series a while back that explains the setup to export from Blender to Goldsource.
The plugin actually exports a Source .smd file.

Check out the first video in that playlist to get an exporter working for blender. From there you just need to compile the model (easier said than done, of course)

As a very inexperienced modeller, I recommend Blender as well. Far more documentation and as Tet said above, very easy to model stuff for Source / Goldsource

YO!!!! If anyone would still like to help.

Would possibly, someone be able to make this model look more decrepit and broken? As if something had a difficult time smashing through it.

(This link is a download for the mod/materials)

(I couldn't tell which prison material went with this specific model, so I just included them all... whatever texture looks nice will be appropriate, thank you.)

This is a crude example that I made in hammer of what I was hoping the final image would look like.
Would you also be sure to make the model in 2 peices, like the example here? (So that I can easily space them as need be)

It would be a big help! Thanks in advanced!
