Well, start by temporarily renaming your map and see what happens...

Good advice. It's probably not compiling at all.

It happens whenever the compile doesnt create a bsp.
IE, when it doesnt compile.
IE, when your map sucks and have a megaerror :)

Whatever the problem is, It's certinaly not compiling. I'd agree with Zombie today.

I've killed a compile before simply with a leaky map, which swamped the compiler in it's verbose state. When I fixed the leak, the compiler survived. Try big-blocking your map and trying re-compiling bits of it.

Of course, it could still be something else at fault: unless it's some painfully simple human error (like spelling the compile path wrong), the only other answer is to back-track your steps untill you can compile successfully.

ya what i usually do is delete everything since the last time you successfully compiled. but this is an extremely bad idea since you put all the hard work into it.I remember I did a tank, and had the problem - I had to delete it, but now instead of carving brushes I clip them it works alot better, I only carve when I absolutly have too an... anyways this probly isn't helpin' you- hehehe, I always do that- I talk to much,
