All right, I got the source code for Half Life and made a dual pistols weapon, but I don't have a compiler to make the DLL. Des anyone know where I can get it?

And I believe there were some free Borland compilers too, but I'm not certain.

I don't know if it's compatible with the Half-Life source, but you can always try. I believe most people use either Microsoft Visual 6.0 or .Net for compiling the .dlls.

i dont think blood shed can compile dlls. i have it and i havent run across a "compile dll" option

borland isn't compatable with the HL source mainley becouse it doesn't support visual content. (or somthing along those lines) your best bet is visual C++ 6 the ... have a look on ebay i got it off there not long ago for ?15. "cheap as chips!"

Or use the Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit. It's freeware :)
