Sorry to be asking a question every two minutes, but I am very close to haveing a successful compile, okay so here is the problem:
everything runs perfectly, no problems at all, until the last part where I am already in half life and its about to launch the map when I get a pop saying "Error: PutClientInServer: No info_player_start on level"
The map i am trying to compile is a tutorial one, I have rea dthe entire tutorial as well as the introduction to compiling. I have added an entity and when I right click on it and click on "properties" it says "class: info_player_start" So what is the problem? I have an entity where the player starts, but maybe I am doing it wrong.

I know a bunch of other people have had this problem but their solutions haventreally pertained to me so any help in any would be great thanks.
Thankyou

We seem to be getting 15 new topics a day! WTF! Look at other sites forums first, or look at the ones that are already here. All it takes is for you to put in a search word at the top and click it to forums. Not have a go at you but people are asking stupid questions everywhere! I've bettered my self by looking at other forums and not posting a forum as soon as i get a small problem. Look, its what your eyes are for.

Anyway, i suggest just deleting and makeing a new one, make sure its not stuck in a wall or in the ground. If that doesn't work.......(runs off)

Have you used the 'Check For Problems' tool in Hammer?

One info_player_start should work. AJ1288, have you tried creating a new map from scratch and insert the info_player_start yourself?

Otherwise, it might be handy to upload the .rmf or .map file into the Problem maps section so we can take a look at it.
