ive searched and i didnt find much on this. im making a hallway. i put a door in the hall by carving out a small block. i already had my textures in place the way i liked them on the walls(mistake). anyways i went to test the map and noticed that the door was not proportional to how big i was in game. so i went to scale down the size of the walls and the door. then i had to scale down the textures. well....it didnt work. when i go to do anything to a texture on a carved wall it breaks the wall up into 3 segments and textures them all differently. is there a way i can get the 3 segments to texture like one wall and only have one texture instead of 3 different ones? ive put a picture so you can see what im talking abtou in case im not being that clear. thanks.

Carving often leads to problems with more complex brushes. It's best to create the three brushes yourself. By copying them the texture options don't change.

Anyways, with the Texture Application (Shft + A) you can left-click on a face to get it's texture properties, and then right-click on another face to apply this texture and it's properties to that face.

If you don't have texture lock checked re-sizing objects always screws up your textures.
