Before when I used wc 2.0 I could make textured lights, but now I have to use point entity lights because the textured lights won't light up. I have been using +0~fifties_lgt2. Doesn't seem to work. I can send anyone who wants one a map.

Rename valve.rad to lights.rad and put it in the compiler directory.

There is a lights.rad and a valve.rad in the C:Program FilesValve Hammer Editortools directory. Should I use the lights.rad or the valve.rad?

delete or move lights.rad and rename valve.rad to lights.rad.The compiler will only use a rad file if it is called lights.rad.

Thanks. Works now. But why were there two .RAD files?

valve.rad is what valve used when compiling the original Half-Life maps.

Valve Dot Rad, Valve Dot Rad,
does whatever a Dot Rad can,
lists the lights, see with your eyes,
the list is big, big in size, look out!
Here comes the Valve Dot Rad!

Is the name wrong?
Listen, bud,
Methinks the names are misunderstood.
Lights Dot Rad, pretty dead
Valve Dot Rad, lighting overhead!
Hey there,
There goes the Valve Dot Rad.

Enjoy my Spiderman remix?
