I recently downloaded Counter-Life and it didn't come with any of the CS models! Whenver I play a new game it says, "modelsv_knife can not be found." Was I supposed to have them all beforehand? Where can I get them? This sucks!

You dont need to rename the models, mine worked fine right whn I started. You need to click that switch.bat thing if you want right handed weapons though.

To get left-handed models right-handed, you must be in opengl mode. Right-handed models don't work in software mode. At least, not for CS and CZ.

Sure they do! I used to use software years ago and I was using right handed weapons.

Yeah, it just doesnt feel right and that messes up my aiming because theres this huge void to the right of me, and I cant see whats on my left. not used to that.

Before i could play counter-life i've had to copy some things from my cs folder (v-knife not found in folder? copy 'n paste whole folder 
, same with talk.wav) Counter-life rulz but can be a little boring if you passed original hl

Go find your own knife model ya hooligan... if you want the basic knife model check the german site (the second one) and somewhere in the knives section is a 1.6 model of the 1.5 knife, more detailed but the same knife. But the models still work for 1.5 even though they are all steam models (I use some of them so I know they work)

Aww crap, thought you were saying you just got CL and needed a knife from someone else... oh well...... get come replacement models for cs, I have replaced all my weapons now... my knife is a katana... my 5-7 is akimbo....its all good
