Ok, so if I am correct, env_glow is supposed to make a something turn into a small light witha glow sprit at the center of the brush and that sprite fades the further away from it you are right? Well I muist be wrong because thats not what it does for me, what does it do?

Its just that for de_full_city (which I am trying to remake for lower r_speeds) someone asked me if all those things under the street lights were sprits. I said yesa and he recommened that I change the lamps to env_glows.

Ive seen the ffect in most online maps so I figured that what it would be.

just make a env glow with rendermode set to glow and everything else set the same as a sprite and i guess look at the dif... and only sprites can be triggered on and off... choose your own fx amount to whatever suits your map.
