Listen, I really need help. My 3D view's gone all fuzzy, it doesn't change one bit when I move in it. It's really hard to postion stuff w/out the 3d view. I'm using hammer 3.5 beta. I once had the prob before, but I forgot how to fix it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling hammer, w/ no luck. :( HELP ME!

I use windows XP. And the problem's caused by leaving my comp. on standby (Sleep mode). It's fixed by restarting my computer.

nah, 98's best for gaming (supposedly): XP's alright; I guess.Very stable, relatively :)

I'm pretty unsure what's going on behind the scenes, though. :(

XP very rarely crashes though, although the "This prog. is not responding" error is a lot more frequent.

ME is an unstable piece of shit, any OS that falls over because an app crashes should be shot

Optimal system: Dual boot with XP professional SP1 and Windows 98 SE and every service pack along with it. You can run everything on this.
XP doesn't crash and Win 98 is needed for the old dos games and other gmaes which can't run on a NT based system at all. Like Tomb Raider 1-5

Come to think'a it, I've still got ME on this :)
Don't like the fact that you can't change bloody IRQs with XP!

My ADSL adapter and onboard sound are sharing #8, which isn't allowed (2k/XP can share, apparently, #9 and #11). Damn irritating, but I think I've just figured it out (unplug my ADSL line from the modem when trying to start up, else the monitor never synchronises and the PC doesn't POST). I mentioned all that in case anyone else has any ideas :)
