I have a genome, he is a very happy genome. Watch him jump, and swing his arms in violent joy! But thats beside the point. I set my joyful genome to be addative and his render amount to 1, su he would be VERY VERY had to see. Then I set his renderFX to hologram, so that you could only see him when hes close to you. Now I went at tested the map to see is my happy genome friend was hard to see. Well he WAS addative, and he WAS holographic, but he was clearly still at 255 additive. If you don't uderstand what i mean, make a monster and set it to te same properties.

Try setting the render amount a little higher. It might be to low.

Say hi to the happy little gonome for me.

So what you're saying is I can't set it to only be visible when it's really close?

I won't be posting as much for a while because I got a progress report today and have a 76 (D) in biology...

Afiak, you can't. Set it to Additive, around 100 and see how it goes?

Well i know he will be harder to see the less you set his additive amount, bt you will be able to see him at any distance. Mayb I could fool with the lighting or something?

Trigger some env_renders as you approach, taking him from Texture/0, to Hologram/100, or whatever?
