First post. Can someone tell me what the hell that means? Lights, walls, barney's, all empty. Had one map of fair size that I had to scrap because of this. I'm new to this and getting a little tired of starting from scratch because deleting the entities doesn't fix the problem. Thanks. :

thats what happens when 4 sum reason u delete the physical form of an entity...but the spiritual form remains. click "go to" on the error screen and itll seem like the entity is everywhere. just delete it and the ghost is gone.

Okay, let's assume I create a block. I want it to rotate. So then I create a smaller block and apply the origin texture. Now I group them together and tie them to the func_rotating entity. What did I delete? My entity is still empty.

I have a feeling this isn't going to help at all :\
When you create your first brush, make sure you don't turn it into an entity.
You can sometimes get this error by trying to assign an entity to another entity. However you should get a little pop up asking you if you want to assign both solids to the new entity. If you click No, then the old entity will appear non solid and have co-ordinates that are way off the map. This old entity needs deleting.
But there seems to be more to your problem... Post an example of what has happened in the Problem Maps section of the Vault, and someone might be able to shed some light on it.
