Time to overhaul the Links Page:
I need suggestions for good mapping program links that are not already covered in Slackillers HL Programs
This is not a place to pimp your website!

List all suggestions here.... What would you like to see?

I really think we should put Tommy14's on there, both for the CS FGD and his error page.

How about a link to GCFscape?
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-09 21:17:35 UTC Post #102911
No idea what your talking about Ant :-)
Gotta love the ability to edit... Ok, so I wasn't clear.. Doh!

I was looking for stuff like Leakfree.org That now holds all the HL1 and HL2 errors and has some legends looking after the compilation of errors.

Um, Sari... GFScape is listed at Slackillers HLPrograms

I think we should have a page listing all the members websites.
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-14 03:24:34 UTC Post #103856
Er, why?
You've any idea how large that list would be?

There's a lot of good sites like this - Maybe a seperate list of where to send your maps?

Erm, Hrny, regular members' sites appear on the front page and are viewable in their profiles, if they have them.

I got one for the links and for the submit a map/mod area.

Its to my site where you can upload a map that is to big for TWHL. I thought that this would be needed and it seems that it works.

Err, what a bad idea. Why would he want to link to your site when people can host stuff theirselves. There are tons of free hosts on the net, like me for example ;) I just don't allow pointless wastes of space (such as template sites).
m0p m0pIllogical.
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-16 21:25:18 UTC Post #104402
No but why go through all the trouble when you could just upload it to my site?

Posted 19 years ago2005-04-16 21:41:53 UTC Post #104403
How reliable is your site's host? Monthly bandwidth? Disk space? If you run out of bandwidth people arent gonna like that no one can get their maps. And hopefully youre getting more than 25MB of disk space. And dont forget download speeds. If its anything like Freewebs people arent gonna use it.
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-17 01:00:57 UTC Post #104419
I've hosted small sites for various people, and files. I let Seventh host a 100mb file once :o
m0p m0pIllogical.
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-17 01:33:47 UTC Post #104420
Very true. In fact, you're still hosting the WON patch, which is a little pointless now, really.

My forums will let you upload up to 48MB files. but ill only allow maps to be uploaded.

Posted 19 years ago2005-04-17 10:24:53 UTC Post #104476
Its not a freewebs site, hrny.

And i still have to find the bandwith. I belive the amount of disk space is quite enourmas, acctually.
