once again another problem, this time in comiling (i think)

Man not a singel compiling tool works for you! Is it only with one map or all? If it's all the maps then the problem is with the compiling tools or hammer's configurations!! ;)

Yeah. If not, I'd suspect a dodgy path.

I think I found your problem, 38_98, Your Hl1 folder is in drive D and your compiling are in C!!! Try moving your compiling tools to D too! ;)

It's a path or setup problem for sure. Try putting everything in, say, D:Mapping or C:Hammer.

there are no paths, the setups dont overlap and there is no entity set up. Could be one thing but ill check

Okay this is getting rediculous. No entitys, setups, VM, Carving or anything else that hammer offers when making a map is behind it. Ive moved all compiling tools INCLUDING the ones i dont use. Its happening with all my maps. I can no longer compile them or play them using the console. In other words. Ive exhausted all possibilitys i can think of and the ZHLT help page wasnt useful at all i think this error has only occured with my computer. Im thinking of changing compiling tools back to the standard Hammer ones. But im onot sure it'll work

No, it won't, and even if it did, the it wouldn't be worth it.

You've messed up your configuration, either entirely accidently, or down to where you've put stuff. Have a careful look through.

nah forget it, i simply changed my tools. What does it that when something really annoying happens when the solution is right under my nose?
