Natural selection hive spawns

Hiya ive made a map for NS but theres a weird problem, the aliens never actualy spawn. The 3 hives are each in a tower type thing thats quite high (and a sortof tight fit) but theres a good bit of space in between the hives and the walls, so whats going on?

You say you've made the hives. What about alien_spawn entities?

Try the ns forums, I haven't dabbled with NS mapping since they turned it into another counterstrike wannabe
