Yo,

Just wandering if there was anyway to make an ambient_generic not.. hmm whats the word.. point based really.. i want the sound (music) to be played everywhere without sounding like its coming from the place where the ambient generic is..

I have play everywhere checked and although i can hear it everwhere, it still sounds like its coming from a specific place which is incredibly annoying during action which is what the music is for...

Can i play the music without the ambient generic?

trigger_cdaudio is, of course, for cd music, like the HL game CD. This has nothing to do with ambient_generics.

cdaudio plays a track off the HL CD and only works if the player is using steam or has the CD in

Sorry Hunter, I guess you could have multiple ambient_generics in each room with the same name and stuff :D

Nah.. Then he'd get an SVC_BAD error. It happens, when you play too much ambient_generics at the same time with the same wav. :)

Yep, there's nothing to do about it. Unless...

Unless you use fmod. But that requires code and all, so that doesn't help you much either. :/

do what habboi said but give them seperate names and trigger them all at once at the same time. That may work :)

place two ambient_generics with the "play everywhere" string at two far ends of your map. it plays it in stereo even :D
