Low ram or just low hdd space left... U usualy get that problem when i?m mapping on my old computer... If you are running a program that uses a lot of ram, like photoshop or if you are downloading anything before or under the compile, close everything and reboot the computer and then try again :quizzical:

Hammer get stuck when i compile, i cant close it
It's supposed to :)
If you want to close it press ctrl+alt+del and find running ompile tools (hlvis.exe hlrad.exe hlbsp.exe hlcsg), select it and press End process

And i do mean everything you don?t use that much! And then reboot it... and yeah, if you have a inti virus prog running, shut it down before compiling :glad:

What heppends hammer is whitened out and it says it's non responsive for that means that hammer is so hard that the computer can't do anything else! If you get an Allocblock:full error in the compiling log that means you need to let it compile and do anything else. If you still have that error then you need more vertual memory. ;)

if you use zoners tools, you can set them to low priority so you can use your computer while compiling, read the docs!

Also using batch compiling tools may solve the Allocblock:full error! ;)
