hope this hassent been said all ready cause im not going to read all the posts

Ive found that openGL works best with Nvidia cards, D3D with ATI and software with onboard graphics

OGL works better with NV since its an NV technology, but D3D is still the best if you have any decent video card these days. The tradeoff is that it's a little glitchy.

wow i just found out that ive been running hl in software mode the whole time ive been playing hl and then i found out the my video card wont support openGl and then i went to D3D and i was like yay hl runs fast on my computer now :biggrin:
