As I was looking aimlessless through TWHL, I realised what it was missing...
A Prefab Section!
What I propose is a section where mappers can post their own prefabs. To encourage people to post them, you could have an award for people who... well... post great prefabs.
I know, a section like this might take the origionality out of some maps... although... when you program, you do not do all the code from scratch, but take parts from what is already there. As "Modders", thats pretty much our job.

Please not. You'll only make people lazier and maps more repetetive. Prefabs are very quickly detected, you know...
HL2 already suffers from this too because the old prop models and textures feel overused quickly...
It's not the same with code. While programming, you're using functionality, not looks. Most programs aren't made to look nice and play well, too.

Well it's.....a nice idea and it can also be good place to put models,textures...ect 
As for awards I belive we need an award for good mods! Every month a maker of a great mod will win this award and I maybe he can get many awards if he has many good mods!

I, also, say "No, thanks" to a prefab section.
Very few prefabs (actually, very, very few prefabs) do not have some fault (untextured faces, textures that aren't in the normal wads, 1/2 unit gaps, etc.). Providing yet another location to store ill-designed prefabs isn't desireable.
And, as CP says, prefabs seem to encourage map-making without thought.

Besides, the example map section counts a little as prefabs section anyway. Since prefabs are also there to be learned of instead of just using them.

Id like a prefab section :D! I might seem lazy but there are things that I just cant do (for example, cars). The prefabs would help alot, and the other sites are just filled with ads, unlike TWHL.
