Does anyone know if the gauss laser color can be changed without coding? Thanks. :)

I think its a sprite. Im not sure but if it is then you could edit the sprite.

I think you change the shot's color like this. The glow sprite that stays on the wall after the shot is called hotglow.spr if you can find it change it's color from orange to what ever color you want. As for the little glows that spray on impact I really don't know how to change them. :tired:

Anyway welcome back pyroclasm. :)

Well - the hot glow is about all you can change without coding.

But if you do know how to compile DLLs (not that hard...) you can change a lot in HL with Zero coding ability. But get the SDK. Its helpful.

You can change the gauss beam color by changing the sprite: smoke.spr.

That the laser sprite the gauss uses. I know, its odd. :)
