I recently played in opposing force and I noticed that the steam sprite that comes out of the plant pot, in the room with freeman's picture, doesn't rotate around all the axises but only around the Z axis. How can I do that or is that a special opfor code? :confused:

Hehe,that wondered me too..So much that I had to de-compile it and have a look.Its an env_laser with a target and also in its properties Sprite name:sprites/steam.spr (I really dont remember its sprite name but it was something like steam1.spr,anyway find it and rename the spirte name if I'm wrong)

It's the same method as the damping coffee a scientist held in the first level of HL. I've used multiple beams with different scrolling speeds to create fire, like in my map Guidance, as an alternative use of beams. You may find other creative ways to use them... have fun! :)

I used it to create pipe leaks(water drips from pipe)Its actually very usefull.
