In the announcement they mentioned that the first release will be playable up until Lambda Core. I've long suspected (as a lurker on the forums) that Xen was not being completed along with the rest of the mod, but tbh the main reason I want Black Mesa is for Black Mesa, not Xen.

All I need is a charger and a copy of Windows to get my laptop working again so I can play it. I've got enough money in the bank for that. It's not like I need it for anything important like food, right?
