@Striker
Thank you. Now that he's 7, he drifted away from the good games, sadly. He doesn't want to play Half-Life, Counter-Strike, DooM, Quake etc. but he just wants to Roblox and sometimes Minecraft. It's kind of unfortunate that he doesn't want to play the maps I've made.
When I was making mp_verycold (a map for Far Cry 1, for a mapping contest at GameBanana), I actually paid him real money just to playtest the map with me. We've had some fun, but it wasn't worth the money...
But hey, now I've got friends on Steam. Sometimes I play Synergy with a guy from Russia and another guy from Romania. I've also hosted a playtesting session of de_kobbl, which was super fun by the way. If there's something my brother and I could enjoy together (in video games), that would probably be... Payday 2. Of course, my laptop won't be able to run it, so I'll have to wait until I get my new PC built.
Also, @Stojke... Store #1 Store #2 Store #3 I think I'm pretty safe so far. My father also said that he's OK with buying parts online from those 3, which surprised me a lot.

@DiscoStu Well... I was absent in the photo, but still, my brother and I were about to play it. I.m.o. the photo is just better without me.
@Windawz If I remember well, my brother and I used to play on Zandronum back in those days. Now we use GZDoom.
@Stojke I didn't say that the price will be that low. But I'll definitely find those parts somewhere, because my 3 years of research weren't for nothing. I think I'll find the parts in I.T. shops in Sarajevo.

@NineTnine I play DooM with a keyboard and mouse. But hey, I guess that's much better than what my brother now prefers: a gamepad. And I've never said I was a true fan of DooM. I'm not a true fan of anything, just myself.
He betrayed me. I thought he will remain a loyal PC gamer, but it looks like he'd be more comfortable around the console gamers' controls.

Inserting pictures is easy:
Write [img][/img]. ends it. In between those 2, paste the link of the image (which ends with .png or .jpg or .gif or whatever your format is).
Apparently... the parameters aren't a problem. You should go to options/preferences and find your game configuration. You know, "Base Game Directory" etc.

The .map files get exported to the folder by Hammer. But, the compiling tools don't even start working. They don't even produce the BSP file. If you were using J.A.C.K., it would have alerted you that the BSP file was not made.
"Unknown option "Editor\zhlt\hlcsg.exe"
Are you using expert mode in the compile menu? Because your tools think that you are telling them to use some parameters like -extra -texdata 8192 and things like that, but you're telling them a folder or something. That's just wrong.
Instead, clean up your parameters (if using expert compile mode), or go to your game configuration and check the build tool paths.

Why does everyone write "LOG"? That's the universe where my mod takes place (L.O.G. - Land of Gamers), come on... just say log.
In my opinion, you either set up the configuration improperly (so the BSP ends up elsewhere) or the compiling tools don't get access to that folder because of Windows' security system. Though, I think it's the first one.
Paste the log here tomorrow, and we'll decypher what's going on.

"Zapisivanje" means "writing down" in Bosnian. "Zapisati" = "To write down"

About the fear of using your voice:
Wow. I thought I was the only one here. (although, I'm sure our reasons to fear are very different)
I've recently had a playtesting session of de_kobbl, and 2 people used their voices. But I was too scared of something so I didn't talk, until they started shooting me for typing whole paragraphs in the IRC chat-box. :/ (which took time)
So I used my voice, and even though my heart started beating a lot quicker and I started breathing quicker, I felt a sudden relief. That's pretty much everywhere. I'm afraid to use my voice, but for other reasons, of course.

Alright, let's see what happened today.
I went to Mostar. The town where the ETS is located. Basically, I went there with my mum to see how it is to take the bus every workday. Apparently, there's some walking from the bus stop to the school, but that's not a concern.
I saw that part of the town, and tried to remember it. It's because I've gone there lots of times, yet I've never actually known anything about it. Knowing the place is pretty important since I'll go to high school there, lol.
Speaking of which, I saw the school itself. It looks nice and pretty accessible. Counting in all the subjects/classes my course will have, I think I'll be fine there.

Anyway, another explanation:
Basically, for the ones who don't understand, this literally resembles an inter-thread conversation.
Rufee says "Now I want to fire up hammer and make something like that :)" Urby responds "Step to it!" To which Solokiller says "Yes, but that's illegal." As if recreating stuff in VHE is illegal. XD
Then Urby says "I hadn't. I tried it. I didn't enjoy it." As if he actually did that.
And Windawz comes and says "Still waiting.", like he's waiting for Rufee to do it. xD It's such a coincidence.

Let's see what I did with de_kobbl. Basically, I took a few overviews from 2 other maps and I combined them:
As you can see, it's 50% de_cbble and 50% de_forge.
Then I built that in my map:
(that's one of the earliest screenshots ever. xd)
And just build the rest of the map! =D
So yeah, I did it that way, and it seems to have worked so far, at least for CS 1.6 maps.
And ts_untergrund? Well, that one was made a bit differently. I drew a room onto a piece of paper and then I made that room. I made it, textured it and everything, and then I made a few halls, and that's where I stopped working because I didn't know what to do next. Then I created a plan in SketchUp:
And... you know the rest.
Also, this is how I started out on Sandstorm:
Furthermore, one of my WiP maps uses a real place for reference:
Blueprint Mapping. I like it. :3 And no, my country isn't like the USA: they won't arrest me for school-mapping.

Well, this journal is about to get buried.
Let's make it to 200.
THIS is why I won't buy an SSD. The speed just won't compensate for the lack of space and the price.
I mean, in my country, for the price of a 120GB SSD, I can buy a 1TB 7200rpm HDD. Also, as far as I've read somewhere on Quora, SSDs are good for reading operations, but you shouldn't write too much on them.
And if I were to buy a 1TB HDD and a 120GB SSD, then my dad's, my aunt's and my own wallet altogether would be deeply hurt because the budget is pretty much driven to the ceiling already.

I won't lie, but I feel disgusted when I see people complaining how their Intel HD Graphics isn't good enough for games. They should've tried what I have, and then they would appreciate their stuff more.
But yeah, I did a very good job of not killing my current laptop. I mean, it's almost 10 years old and only God knows when will its HDD fail. Anyway, I'm really excited for that new PC.
Oddly, last night I had a dream where my neighbour-cousin (he's a 3rd-grader) was playing games on his own PC. Man... what an odd dream. It's odd because he doesn't have a PC of any sort - not even a laptop. And his parents probably won't buy him one, either. xd
The night (or 2 nights) before, I had had a dream where I was in a bicycle race in Stolac and it was very rainy. I came 9th and I got a yellow RX 460. What the heck...
Now, another thing: I also dreamed about giant snakes in GoldSRC. I even found them attractive. Weird

Alright, let's do this... I said something about this new topic in the screenshots thread.
My GPU standards:
Bottom-end: graphics cards like Intel GMA X3100, the G41 Chipset etc. Low-end: GT 210, GT 610, old AMD HD 2000 Series and stuff like the AMD X1300 etc.
Medium-end: Intel HD Graphics 3000, Nvidia GT 720 and 730, AMD R7 240, lower-end AMD HD 4000 (incl. the 4650 - my old PC's GPU), 5000 and 6000 (e.g. 6450) series Higher-medium-end: AMD R7 250, R7 250X, Nvidia GT 740, Intel HD Graphics 4000
Budget-high-end: AMD RX 460 (& 560), GTX 750 Ti and 650 Ti and so on... High-end: AMD RX 470 (& 570), GTX 760 (& 770, 960 and 970), AMD HD 7000 series (e.g. the 7970)
The top-end: AMD RX 480 (& 580), GTX 780 (& 980 Ti), and I don't know what else to fit here... The realm-of-gods-end: AMD RX Vega, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti and the Titan GPUs.
Yeah, I have some standards which a lot of people won't agree with (mostly from the low-end to high-end GPUs), but that's just how I see graphics cards.
And I remember that Cd5ssmffan told me that I didn't really answer the question (on my GameBanana blog), so here it is:
Why do I like "low-end" graphics cards? It's because your low-end is my higher-medium-end. Now think about that. You've seen the chart, now you know it.

I said that I wouldn't answer them, with "them" being "What's brown and sticky?" and "What's orange and sounds like a parrot?".
Since they're a part of the "joke", then I shouldn't be expected to answer these questions at all. The funny part is supposed to be, hmm, the answers which are struck through? ("A stick." and "A carrot.")

I didn't even know that there were any, but I could've assumed.
And music tastes? Ever heard of the Bosnian War, part of the Yugoslav Wars? Basically, Bosnian Serbs from the Republic of Srpska (which was an entity in BiH) attacked the Federation of BiH, while being supplied by the Yugoslavian, I mean Serbian army (because the only things left of Yugoslavia were Serbia and Montenegro).
Basically, those songs are mostly "chetnik" songs, and my teacher hates Chetniks. I blame nationalistic ideas and religion for all of this mess.

So, yesterday was Monday, my last day of elementary school.
TL;DR
I found out that 90% votes were for Turkish in my class, because the parents (the ones who actually voted) were talked into voting for it.
Then I'm afraid of having to learn German from 0 because German in high school will have high school lessons and won't have us learn the basics.
It turns out that we might learn the basics of German in high school.
I found out lots of info I should've found out. I also retrieved my bag which contained 2 folders with A3 paper sheets and equipment for art class (brushes etc.). That's something I had left in school in Thursday. :3
Having found out some info, let's see why I really learned Turkish in elementary. It weren't me and my classmates who had voted. Our parents had. Most of them would vote for German, but some Turks went ahead and talked about how nice it is to learn Turkish and how 'good' it is. We were promised a backpack and a pencil case (for free) and a yearly trip to Zenica.
My mom accidentally missed the parents' meeting class in 6th grade that day, so we lost 1 vote for German. Regardless, Turkish would've won with over 90% votes. >:(
Basically, those parents were talked into voting for Turkish! It's not my fault. When I say "I had to learn Turkish in elementary school." everyone asks me "Why did you choose Turkish? You should've voted for German!" I decide to raise my tone a little bit and say "It's not me who wanted Turkish. It's my classmates." and then I tell the whole story over again.
I actually remember ^that^ happening in the ShoutBOX once, when somebody asked me why I'm learning Turkish. Then someone said "Probably because he lives in a country close to Turkey or lives in Turkey." something like that...
Now that I have this new piece of info, everything makes more sense. Parents being talked into voting for Turkish, just because of business.
Now, I won't say "Turkish is a bad language." No. It's an OK language and it's a bit cool. But for me, there are no pracical reasons to use it unless you're moving to Turkey (which I'm not) and/or you want to chat with Turks (I actually know 2 people from Turkey, they're good guys).
And the promises? The school's director got a free trip to Turkey, we got our yearly trip to Zenica and we got the very low-quality backpacks and pencil cases. Totally not worth it!
Let's think about what happens next:
German will wait for me in high school. However, I'm worried that it will treat me as if I had German in elementary school, i.e. we will have high school lessons. Well, I'm not worried any more.
Remember how I said that I had found out info I should've found out? Well, my class teacher told me that elementary-school lessons in German are revised upon in high school (thank God). If that turns out to be true, then I'm safe and sound.
So yeah, I am very fond of what I had discovered that day. Though, my class teacher isn't. She discovered about me listening to Serbian war songs. Darn.

@Snehk The ETS in Mostar will perhaps be the only reason for me to use Facebook, lol. Just for business (let's call it that way), and not for socialising. Facebook isn't the type of platform where my content gets any attention at all. That's what GameBanana, TWHL, ModDB, QuakeOne and CryMods are for.
My "friends" just chat and share selfies. In fact, I think I left Facebook just because of my classmates. I guess it was better that way.
@Jessie "my Facebook friends list is a highly curated environment" Hmm, good idea, maybe I should also filter my friends list and remove the unnecessary individuals. Oh yeah, the cleansing will begin...
When I think about it, I have around 30 unnecessary friends because I once had 70 friends and now I have 105 friends. I'll just have to keep that number low and control it.

Also, this is how I started out on Sandstorm:
And no, my country isn't like the USA: they won't arrest me for school-mapping.
Let's make it to 200.
Also:
Well... what a sorry information. But "Isis" is a girls name, so I don't see why "Jody" wouldn't be a girls name too. Ah well... There's Judy, but I'm not going to switch to that name since Jody is... well... Jody and she doesn't want to change her name again. xd
(she changed her identity when she was 16, due to some things which will be told in the mod)
He is now 7 years old. Hooray.
300MB free out of 12.5GB. x(
Can't even open the gallery app any more.
Now, another thing:
I also dreamed about giant snakes in GoldSRC. I even found them attractive. Weird
6450) series
Higher-medium-end: AMD R7 250, R7 250X, Nvidia GT 740, Intel HD Graphics 4000
Of course, I understand. Everybody has their own priorities. This journal, however, is my priority, so I'll obviously monitor it all the time.
Anything that's inappropriate is pretty much deleted from my watch history. But my search history on YouTube, not sure if it's a thing, is something you would laugh at, since it's not deleted.
Anyway... one of my Russian friends accidentally ate some rotten fish and he's going to die. At least he says. Well, may he have a happy death, and may God's mercy be upon his soul.
@Admins & Moderators
Thank you so much, you filtered Dimbeak's post.
So, what do we talk about now?
I'm surprised. BUT, let's not talk about that. I'm 15, not 18.
@2muchvideogames
You have a consistent personality, lol.
I wonder how my personality will affect me in high school, though. Some people will find me very weird.
There were 1319 unread messages, and my classmates got some nice nicknames. XD
Then I came in and said something funny. It was followed by 3 "Hahhahahaha"s and someone asked me "What's up?".
I said "1319 messages, that's what's up." and "What's up with you?"
Then this happened:
Hmm, let me see those "jokes" again...
Oh, I get it.
I understand them, but what's so funny about them?
There, I think I wrote enough to satisfy your first question.
You were interested in my reaction to the joke. But you forgot that my reactions come in pairs, so there you go.
That's just me, your typical Admer. I wonder if there's a pocket edition.
Indeed. This is very interesting. Someone posted something in the ShoutBOX about HL1 being uncensored in Germany, then I posted about that being one reason less to not go to Germany, and people were confused. Then I went and made a journal to explain what I had said.
And it grew...
@Jessie
Those don't look like jokes to me... I've said this before, I don't like most types of jokes.
...
...
Oh, you're expecting me to answer them? No. I don't have any benefits of answering that, so I won't even bother. And now, comes a "You failed, Admer". Darn.
Lucky? Well, I wish I had such a feed on GameBanana. XD
10 friend requests,
2 messages,
53 notifications,
9 more likes on my cover photo,
30 more likes on my new profile photo.
But I'm there just for business, man...
Speaking of that business, it's basically getting more info about the high school. XD
- The 11-year-old me (the one even I don't know any more)
- The 12-year-old me (the one you'll never know)
- The 13-year-old me
- The 14-year-old me
- The 15-year-old me
Essentially, my personality was changing a lot during those years. I think that going to high school will have an impact there, too.I didn't even know that there were any, but I could've assumed.
Darn.
You could take a wooden stick or something and rub it.
@Snehk
Oh, please don't remind me of The Core. I remember commenting on one of their videos about that moving camera sequence...
The ETS in Mostar will perhaps be the only reason for me to use Facebook, lol.
@Jessie
"my Facebook friends list is a highly curated environment"
Hmm, good idea, maybe I should also filter my friends list and remove the unnecessary individuals. Oh yeah, the cleansing will begin...
When I think about it, I have around 30 unnecessary friends because I once had 70 friends and now I have 105 friends. I'll just have to keep that number low and control it.
Yes, I went back to Facebook so I can follow the group of that ETS in Mostar. I updated my profile photo as well as the cover photo, and BAM! I got 2 likes as soon as I had done that. Oh man, I'll have to go through it all again...
I'm sure that my classmates will kick me out of their chat group, again. xD
I started the journal as a simple over-explanation and now it turned into ShoutBOX 456.
Yeah, 'ShoutBOX 456' because of my username: Admer456.
It's just like the regular ShoutBOX, except you have additional features like shouts being saved and accessible at all times, and you can make very long shouts, as well as editing them. We have 109 shouts so far. :3
South-Slavs are conservative (and stubborn, lol) (maybe except Croats), and that's why there are no such new (stupid) things or movements in my country. If there were any, I'm sure they would get a bad reputation.
Phew.
Of course, we're technologically left behind, but that's because of another reason which is related to our stubborn nature.
Hmm, not for me. I enjoyed some titles after Underground, mostly NFS: World and NFS: Carbon. Since I don't play racing games any more (I stopped around late 2015, I think), I'm not sure if I could support your claim or not.
