Looks kind of like, oh what is it called, you know the one where you have to plant C4s next to chemical containers and there is 2 sites, erm, it don't matter.It really looks like a copy of that!

Thnx for the info :).
First off, this was made for half life DM and there arnt any good snow textures there. Second, I didnt use light enviroment, I originally tried but it was all shadowy. I used just a regualr light and choose Sky as. 3. And the stairs were made hard on purpose...

Interestig for your first map yarn! There are a few things I would fix! first off the stairs should be max 16 units or else players can't cllimb them (check dimensions tut) and change your sky also prvent the player from ever reachimg the sky... and don't use light_enviroment!

Why isnt there a snowy background? if you have cs, take the office.tga files from cstrike/gfx/env and copy them to your vavle/gfx/env folder. Then set the background to office

WHAT? MORE possibilities? Um, SP has loads more "possibilities". And more advanced??? Valve spent most of their time on HL SP, not MP. It's obvious, the quality of their maps is amazing.

I reconed that well.wad would be to much TFC like. And i really wanted cs_well to have a cs feel about it. So much of the text. are HL.wad and cs wads.

Ok, i understand your vision/opinion on this. I map MP/CS because i have this feeling it gives more possibilities and is a bit more advanced then mapping good ol'e HL itself sp OR mp. Thats why i'm more atracted to map cs/mp, not hl/sp

I never said they can't. Ever. I just said that I'm pissed off by all this MP and a lack of SP....we used to get a little more SP.... Also, bear in mind that I very rarely play MP. Still, it's nice to see people branching out from cs.

But the ultimate cs map is soon to come... maybe you have heard of big_city? No matter what you thought of that level or cs maps, I have made a "sequel" to big_city that will amaze you all.
