Cruel, Strideh. Cruel.

Season 2 will be much closer to our original vision for this series, but there was much lulz in season 1 to toss it away completely.

He sort of sounds like C-3PO imitating an Australian imitating an Englishman. Quite unusual.

Ha, yeah. There was a MAJOR upset when we recorded the whole series and then found out that first-person-recorded replays in GTA V are limited to first person in the replay editor. Nightmare. This was never planned to be from only my perspective, but we've figured out a workaround for season 2.

To be honest, it feels a bit unfocused. Something like this seems like it needs to have more perspectives, or at least some way of keeping track of people's relative positions. Maybe both. In turn, cutting it into a highlight reel might also be a flawed approach.

/imo, not aware of what limitations you have, etc.

P.S. Still amusing though.

Title sequence is stunning Archie. Nicely done. Anyone who doesn't like this video is obviously REALLY stupid and they smell of wee.

Get that goddamn dirty Aussie out of SnC!

(Seriously amazing work though, Arch!)

Thanks TJB. :)

Well, I don't know since I ain't made it.
The guy behind the mod is called Andreas "ruMpel" Rönnberg and he made all the custom content. The only things I've done there are new textures and maps (though I'm not in the original mod development in any way).

Are they by any chance based off this painting? It's the first thing that came to mind when I saw that screenshot.

@Ghost129er: it's called Black Dog (original uh?), they're enemies from Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut. They replaces Houndeyes.

I find it peculiar that the one I'm most impressed by is the metal stairs.
I really need to get some standards. `-`

@Strider: It's a horror mod I'm developing for Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut. Just a "test mod" before the definitive standalone one (it will have twice as the detail you see there). The next 3 screenshots are part of the same map. :)

As far as I know Stu, the technology was developed for rapid prototyping of designs. So you can make a part and see if it does what it's supposed to in less than a day, as opposed to having to make it by traditional means. The recent idea of using 3D printed parts as finished components isn't really what they were designed for, as the printed parts tend to not be as strong as parts injection moulded or machined out of the same material.

That being said, for small, cheap, one-off components they are pretty useful. As an example within the next few weeks I'm going to have to get some parts printed which will be used in a model aircraft.
I'm going to have to get test pieces printed off next week to see what glues are the best as well.

3D printers look like they'd be fun to have, but the truth is I can't think of a single use to justify the expense.

Awesome! I envy you :D I haven't had the chance to play with a 3D printer yet. However, I just made this:

Very often mappers focus on making a good looking map without really having a plan for a good map. I'm probably guilty of it too.
