It's something like this that makes me want to throw up.

I feel terrible for you.

I almost lost all of my son's photos at one point, but I had a backup. I use Sugarsync to back up all of my important files in real time. It saved my butt.

You have un-format information saved, run Northon Partition manager 8 or a similar program.

Looks nice cool so far sajo! cool to hear you are still modding and expanding your knowledge, and i can't wait to see your upcoming source projects =)

what pb said! backup your important files regularly to an external or dropbox or whatever. Also, backup your flash media on your phone and cameras because they can and do crash(a lot, for me at least)!

There is freeware out there to recover your lost data, but i've never tried it. you can get it professionally recovered depending on how important your work is, but i've heard it's expensive.

Commented 11 years ago2013-01-27 11:20:49 UTC in journal: #8098 Comment #60043
Just reverse the process and never merge if it isnt safe to do so.

I hate how partitioning works. If you usually have some leftover space and it's at the right end, it's almost impossible to assign it to a partition in the middle...

Another reminder to everybody: Back up your important work! Upload it to the net, put it on a thumb drive, email it to yourself, however you want to do it. Most of the time, the actual important work you need to back up is small in size (unless you're editing video or something) and easy to back up.

I wanted to merge the old C drive with the leftover space, created a dynamic volume (which i didnt want to) then tried to delete the C drive from that dynamic volume turns out it destroys all of them.

That really reminds me of the cave section from Resident Evil 4.

Pretty cool.

I thought PMs were supposed to be private.

At least tell him about BspTwoMap so that he can learn more about VHE and your maps as well... So that he can improve.. if he was ever willing to. I suppose, that is the right thing to do.

I apologize if my comment is a bit late, I just.. I don't know.. He doesn't seem to have much ulterior motives. Or perhaps, I'm just too soft on the matter.

It mign not be a satellite. Sometimes I happen to see more than one almost colliding with each other. At least from our insufficient perspective of view...
