Jimmi? Doesn't ring a bell. Unless you're that jimmi who got banned as many times as he created new users, which would be more than I could count to I'm afraid.

I hear you. I have the same feeling when some idiot takes the time to write a novel, demanding 15 cents worth of miscalculated delivery fees to be transferred back to his account. Customer support at its finest.
Update, 26.11.2012: Computer in secret area and living room completed. Placed working(finally) light in secret area. Placed additional turrets. Refined kitchen lights. Added some pickups.

ya tetsu0 idk, you found any good deals yet? i'm not really finding crap for laptop deals...
my 4-year old laptop(core 2 duo 2.26 ghz, geforce 9800 gts) is also a champ, that still plays the latest games fine, just not on the highest settings. i'm guessing a modern gaming laptop would play anything on high settings no problem.
tjb: i've always wanted to do that too, use one of those cool stainless steel survivor briefcases =)

well ive been upgrading the thing pretty much every 18-24 months. I have 8gig of ripjaws ram, and the last video card i bought was a radeon HD 6950
So i think if i get a new motherboard / processor it won't be the bottleneck anymore.
I have a laptop that plays games decently well. its been a champ Acer Aspire with an i5 and a mobile HD 6600 series video card. can't remember the exacts... but its running like a boss and the only thing i might do is double the ram from 4 to 8gig

My friend is building a gaming laptop out of desktop components and a custom case. I think it will be roughly the size of a small suitcase when it's finished.

how old is your rig? with all the deals you might just be better off buying a whole new system, and then you can be super cool running to computers at once =)
OR buy a diesel gaming laptop instead like i'm also planning to do today, because you deserve it =)

That's epic, Satch, did you by any chance see the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft flying above LA before landing at LAX a couple of weeks ago as well as the trek to the museum?
If that's not a pretty sight (as well as very rare,) i don't know what is.
The code is AuroraBorealis. And I know that the lighting is dark - just some more refinement and it'll be allright. As for the underground - there I wanted to place one or two Deltawing fighters from B5, but I haven't yet managed to make one. The security system is mounted 'cause the 'downbelow' area is top secret. It is currently empty and the 4 light_spots don't seem to work.

kk finally played this!
Excellent work pulling off the dojo theme! a couple ideas for improvement:
-reduce the scale of the main fountain, and give the bottom of it a more cylindrical shape, or add some more trims to it to make it a little fancier, considering it's the centerpiece of the map.
-fix the wood textures grain, so it faces the right direction on your planks(simply click on the edge of the board and then alt+apply the texture and it should line up perfectly every time)
-lighting is fine, but it would be nice to see more contrast in the map by having some of the darker areas a bit darker, and maybe add some variation in the color on the interiors or something(i know it's a small map)
alright, this is pretty damn raw/unfinished, but you have a nice start there!
Likes -behaviour/sound of the front doors -some nice brushwork props inside -working security pad and security system!(what is the dam code btw?!)
dislikes -very unfinshed, especially the outside facade and lower level -lighting is very sparse and dark
Also btw, i'm not quite clear on your theme, because the outside looks like a city building/business, and the inside is a normal residence, and the downstairs are a giant wharehouse! (none of these things are bad things, it just needs a little more development/refinement imo!)
pm me if you interested in ideas to finish it up, or i can fill in the gaps if necessary when it's combined with the other houses =)
The infamous Jimmy that has been banned 100 million times and I've been hearing about non-stop since 2007?
/me popcorn
Hey Jimmi.
And yeah no, cyber monday is pretty shitty i couldn't find dick for deals on gaming laptops.
And I thought Black Friday was Friday the 13th. Or is the name being used everywhere now?
havent checked tigerdirect yet though...
So i'm thinking of This Motherboard
And the processor linked above. Any ideas on this?
The best way to deal with them is to be excessively polite. Human nature makes it difficult to be rude at someone who is utterly polite.
It works out for everyone. They calm down, and it makes your day better too.
The shuttle flew right over the hospital, but I was inside working.
I will post more pictures tonight.
Now i need a compatible motherboard
