the anime is called sword art online basically this mad scientist/game programmer removes the log out function from a virtual reality headset MMORPG video game and thousands of ppl died to monsters from level 1.

However by episode 10 it appears as they main characters (one being around 14 years old apparently) had an explicit R-rated encounter. All of this occurring in an MMORPG video game. Maybe the programmers got a bit carried away with this stuff. Unfortunately, the novel version of this seems to be even more detailed bordering on porn, so whether this show was really about a video game (or something else) is difficult to establish.

People make games too complex and not dynamic now days. Lots to learn for those.

Give info on anime.

What? And no details about the adult MMORPG? What was the point of this journal then? What a letdown.

I know, skals. And I have created a normal map in this tutorial. The fact that I mentioned several times "bump" is because newbies hardly make a difference, and so whrn they see "normal mapping" I fear they would be tginking about... mapping.
Strider: I agree, though the result wasn't bad either.
Archie: I'd love to see the newer methods of making a normal map.

A bump map is a black and white image, it's the predecessor to normal maps. A normal map is different, it's a purplish type of image that contains more data and so can create more detail, plus it's easily generate-able.
I'm sorry but I get annoyed when people mix up normal maps and bump maps.

Not bad. You should never create a normal map from the diffuse map, though. Take the time to create a proper height map. Paint in the sunken areas, remove the lighting highlights.

A very clear and concise tutorial, albeit using some very outdated techniques.
Nice work.

It's quite proven, and extremly useful! It makes clocks go "tick".

I was referring to a real existing Klein bottle.
Until 4th Dimension stuff is proven possible and usable i will consider thinking about it.

Human's aren't too good at operating in four dimensions, Stojke.

Luckily mobius safety belts were invented exactly for the purpose of allowing people to safely pour liquid into klein bottles.

I'm thinking of emailing some of the members who were around when this map was uploaded. The chances of any of them still using those old email addresses are probably pretty slim though.
