^--- Like! That's a terrific idea!
I just successfully printed my first cast after trial and error.
Now to get the concrete ready.
I have too many inventions just sitting in 3d modeling programs to print anything else right now. But I'm sure i'll get around to it. All you have to do is open a model in 3DS max or I think even sketchup has a plugin for it to export as a stl. file.
Down the road when I get all of my stuff out of the way, I just might take some requests.

It says 50 microns on their website, I think 75 microns was their preliminary specs they were aiming for before it was completed.
I just ordered it with silver metal and red plastic. I asked them if they could make my plastic bright green though instead. It's not offered but I've seen it online.

Yea I can probably make something "that" for you. It'll be a while before I get my printer though, I think two weeks after I order it. I'll keep y'all updated.
Also 3D printing takes a really long time. I plan on mostly using it to create casts for ceramics as I can't make pottery on the wheel with out it collapsing. I blame my wheel's lower rpm than Brent wheels...

Thanks Tet, well if you've ever touched an electric fence it felt just like that but little stronger. I don't want to know what being hit directly feels like.

I was so shocked "pun intended" by the sensation that I hardly noticed the sound, and unlike when they normally happen far after the flash, it happened right away.
That's funny Ghost, yea Zeus through an electro nade and my thumb caught some of the shrapnel. Luckily I was pulling some spins. Maybe I dodged it ;).

Oh yea, Rc planes are cool I used to have one. I also had a cool flying toy that you wound up by pulling a plastic gear strip through it and then threw it.

Ah yes I remember now, the lego kits were so much fun to follow. I remember getting a ufo one that I had a blast assembling. I think it's what got me interested in design.
Holy shit that thing lights up! That is awesome! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Get this. Back when Nintendo still manufactured super nes games and sold them in stores, I went to buy super Metroid, a game I had played as a very youngin and remembered "man that game was cool".
It had a red tag of maybe fifteen-twenty dollars or something like that on it, then when I went to check out it rang up at, one dollar...
Oh yea, and I only bought one...
Geez could I have cashed in.
My motto is keep one in the case, and one out of the case. Yea, that's my new motto...
Thanks a lot, no there isn't any way out. There is a furnace though ;). You just have to enter the region up near under the large pipe to trigger it. Watch for the entire sequence of events.
Also try exiting by climbing the ladder and see what happens.
Just explore the whole area, there are three sets of triggers.
I really liked that you added gameplay to such a small simple layout. I felt it could have used more puzzle like gameplay though. I really liked the multisource buttons and the lighting effect for the final exit was brilliant!
I loved the car parked at an angle with it's headlights though they could have used gradient lighting imo and definitely called for some texture lighting on the head and tail lights.
Some choices imo could have been changed a little like the glass having it's fx_amount set a little too high looks strange at night. Some more glowing sprites could have been added. The ambience was nice.
The large exit doors looked really nice.
Is it strange that my favorite part of this map is the car? It's placement and angle just looks awesome.
Also, you definitely held very close to the competition brief/ closest I've seen so far.

This sort of reminds me of scientist hunt.
Does anyone remember this mod? It had one of my favorite half life maps to date "endless rain".
The game was simple, just run around the level and kill scientists. You also were equipped with three extra weapons, a double barrel sawed off shotgun that could fire single shot or duel, a huge hammer that flung scientists into the air or smashed them, and of course a chainsaw.
You could also play as a scientist and inject enemies with a needle.

I think this game calls for spirit of half life. Imagine making a func_train that was also a button with shootable flag enabled... Bam you have a critter

You hook it on with a strap. I'm going to switch the wheels for wheelbarrow tires because these couldn't make it over rocks with all the weight of the boat on them.

First model, of course I brought it to work to show off. This is the bottom portion of the mold.
I really like the tanks and ct base in general. I'm surprised you didn't add som type of boat in the t's spawn.
...
Meh, the world will sort it's shit out in one way or another.
Ugh I've contacted the website gcreate about my order but they haven't responded since the weekend. And I wasn't even charged for my order...
I just ordered it with silver metal and red plastic. I asked them if they could make my plastic bright green though instead. It's not offered but I've seen it online.
Here's silver metal and blue plastic parts, couldn't find any larger images...
Haha well this one is around 1300.00 USD which really isn't that bad.

I think I could make some cool mini competition prizes with this bad boy.
Dp fail

Sounds cool Captain, i'll have to check them out.

My twin brother and I came up with the triggers together :D.

Good luck in the competition!
+I also liked the truss system you came up with and the color palette, brown/orange and blues worked nicely together.
+Semi wheel chair accessible. An elevator could have been added to make it entirely so.
+Sexy shadow work with tons of lights and nicely placed props.
+/-Hand rails were awesome but weren't added to the catwalks?
-I felt the HEV suit was unnecessary.
-You could have added glowing sprites to the lights.
-Some miss aligned textures.
-Absolutely no ambience!
Really great entry, good luck!

There's a boat called the twin troller that uses two trolling motors for steering.
