You should try the fun that Cryengine2 Sandbox offers.

He probably did not programmed on a platform dependent language like you do :P.
Anyway, are you going to release the source code?

Also, an idea would be to make a rmf. or map. exporter from a source map, for exporting "world" geometry.

@Tetsu0 I really didn't want to go to the doctor... my mother told me I should. The doctor said it was pretty bad already.
Thanks :P.

@skals I don't think it's a flue... But you can always ask satchmo xD.

@brendanmint what's wrong with a x-ray?

There are cool textures in it :P. I discovered them a while ago...
But as skals says, it's really easier with the info_texlights entity.

Poor ladies who only played half-life on easy difficulty entering the men fields of Crysis ;D.
Nah, to be honest, I enjoyed Crysis a lot, but I think in some places it's just too difficult. Too much save and load :).

SSD is solid state disk. It's the new way of storing your boot partition for fast boot.
Nice for you, Luke!

So labeling a map that works in hl1(and I did that because hl1 is the main engine, not cs) and perfectly well in cs as well is fail and a subject of trolling?
You're failing at trolling.
Commented 14 years ago2010-07-04 15:30:23 UTC in vault item: func_tracktrain Comment #18215
It's just that I hate pointless "fail" trolling where it doesn't need to be.
I called you stupid because you used the "fail" word without knowing what do you talk about. I recommend you learning what "fail" means.

"...And he will see the textures. You fail!"
I just presumed he doesn't have the hl textures loaded but only cs ones.

And btw, what's with this 12 years old acting?
Are you high or something?
Commented 14 years ago2010-07-04 14:01:36 UTC in vault item: func_tracktrain Comment #18208
It works in cs, trust me. The only problem is that he won't see the textures but....
Commented 14 years ago2010-07-04 13:57:11 UTC in vault item: func_tracktrain Comment #18206
You are obviously stupid, a hl map with func_tracktrain and an info_player_start works in cs as well.

Wow, that's impressive.

It's also nice to see very old members come back to TWHL. Especially members I've never had the chance to see them active :).

", but the 1920p FULLHDOMGLOLZ"
It's not really like that :). I feel a little bad because I'm doing this, I'm more into videoshooting too.. but it's better than nothing :P. When I'll have a job will try to have a full hd video camera and a dslr as well.

Yes it doesn't have manual focus which kinda sucks, most DSLRs have this. And it's also nasty that it automatically adjusts the lighting when shooting films, which results in a bad quality looking video. That's why, during video shooting, I will disable this.
I also heard there is some software out there for reducing the wobble, so it won't be that bad.
Oh and btw, I saw a video with this camera zooming to the moon. The zoom is so strong that the moon doesn't appear anymore as a simple 2D object, but more of a 2D object with bump mapping(ridiculous explanation, but you know what I mean :D).

[EDIT] I posted on my blog some videos that show the power of this camera :D.

You have to quickly put some baking soda on the place where sulfuric acid was dropped.
I also have H2SO4 at home. It's 30-40% :).
Madcow, that was... not intelligent :). I once smelled ammonia gas in a chemistry class while the teacher wasn't there. It felt like I lost my breath... And since then, I'm addicted to smelling hair dye.

Rimrook, a picture pls with the spot? :D

"This is when I panicked. The whole house began to shake from the violent winds, and unable to tell what was going on over the heavy rain, thick darkness, and loud sounds of the wind and lightning, I prepared to die"

That's somewhat the same feeling I had when they made the flood announcement in my area. But you were prepared to die without doubt in those seconds.
In my case, I wasn't really frightened about the flood announcement, but I immediately thought about the barrage that was overwhelmed. If it failed, I was now sitting at the bottom of a lake...
The problem is, this feeling was painful... being doubtful a few hours...

Happy you're ok though :). These kinds of events really pump up the adrenaline :D.

Hah, I feel lucky with disasters like this(ok, besides floods... :P). We have an earthquake epicenter located somewhere in the eastern-center part of my country. It's near the Carpathian mountains.
This epicenter produces small(perhaps max 4 on the Richter scale) earthquakes frequently- I never feel them because I'm on the other side of the mountains, north-west. But that's only about 30-40% of the country that is safe from these earthquakes...
Scientists say that this epicenter produces BIG earthquakes at an interval of 30-40 years. Like the one from 1977 that destroyed a lot of Bucharest...
2010-1977=33 years. Imminent...

No. You didn't read the story. The flood danger was at night, when it actually happened. After that the river calms down.

I love summer, I only hate it that I have to go to my grandmother in the countryside(ok I live in the countryside, but that's "even more countryside" if you know what I mean) to help with the hay on the fields...

But this was far from violent. I'm beginning to be a little scared when I think of the climate changes. A few years ago things like tornadoes started to happen. Hot weather could be responsible for this.
Lightning strikes are very often here. When I shot this footage, the power went down after that lightning strike.

Are you alone at home? Because when I'm alone at home, even though I can go to sleep well, I often wake up at 5 or 6 a.m. from no reason. It's strange, and it only happens when I'm alone at home.

You have been URL-itized.
I see some gaming companies switched their efforts from "ultra-realistic" to "fun". Borderlands is like that for example. Which is good, not every game needs be realistic.
