Nice, by the screen. I'll give my comments when I play it. Okay, A few suggestions: 1. Make the ("Fax" brand? not sure if that was intentional) Floor wax metal instead of glass, kinda ruined the illusion for me, it looks plastic or metal to me. 2. Turn the fence into a func_illusionary and put a clip brush around it, I think players will probably have guns by then.
All in all, it was nicely done! Good rock walls, nice terrain, perhaps a few too little textures, but we have no idea how many everyone else in a given map will use, so that's good for the compiler. I like it.
Nice... They need a bit of detail, especialy in the train area, and the "reflective" floor needs to streach past the camera's view, because you can see that the area below is a different area, but good for a beta. I really liked how the different maps used different camera types, and how the NPC's were placed so they would help imersion but not get in the way.
This is actually a good example, for a first map. It shows monstermakers, func_ entities, and how to use keycards, and decals, as well as some light effects and model rendering effects. 4 stars for educational content for new mappers.

I have a virus too. It seems to only make .tmp files in C/:, but when my anti-virus found and deleted part of it's replication chain, it gave me constant error messages, 'cause it kept trying to reboot itself. I can sometimes get the errors to stop and keep using the computer, though.

My nightmares are usually about consoles and computers not turning off, even when I unplug them... And they can keep me off the games they were running for as long as a year sometimes... And don't get me started on the nightmares I have when I'm sick.

I just put that there because the map itself is just a small box with a button in it... not much to show off, and it's just an example of how to make a SOUND work a certain way. I can't upload a screenshot of the map right now, I'll do it later. EDIT: there.
...Lemme check. no... I have no null on any ceilings... don't know what to say... guess it's the same compatibility errors you keep getting from my maps... sorry.

Hello, atom. So this is the first journal post on TWHL... an noone commented on it until 2008?! Wow, I'm almost sortof a part of TWHL history now! And Potatis_invalid needs to post again.
*sigh. I'm working on detail. I think day 2 AND day 3 in a single map would'nt work, with the size of the maps. If you want to continue the seiries, let me know, I have 3D mapping to do as well. EDIT: There. Added a bit of detail, and the RMF's for the entire trilogy. And I'm DONE working on it. PM me if you want to work on it.
There. I did it. It was a rush job, but I did it. And if you don't like it, you have a copy of my RMF so you can make your own. I hope you enjoy it, but if you don't you know how to make it more to your liking.
