I agree with JeffMOD here. I would like to add the follow though:
Try using texture lights, they light up your map much more realistic way.
The wooden crates annoyed me. Noone enjoys whacking a crate for like 10 seconds only to find out there's nothing in it. Crates should be destroyed in 1 or 2 crowbar hits.
I suggest compiling with HLFIX. Take the wooden chair in the control cabin for example: it looks weird. HLFIX fixes that.
Is there an ending? After clearing that room with the unusable rocket launcher, i was looking all over the place for an exit. Make it clear to the player when he's finish the map by using a game_text entity and/or a trigger_end_section.

Read the fuckin readme, DragosLt, just fake the puzzle.wad.
I liked it. Couple of minor issues here and there, such as a button with Don't move flag unchecked, couple of dissapearing faces (in the cave area). No big deal.
Also add some gameplay, put in some enemies to fight and you got yourself a very basic singleplayer map.
Christmas.Merry()
End Sub
Ok...

Portal: Win.
The latest official patch is 1.1.1.0.
Also, that bobble effect (don't know the official term) when you walk is making me dizzy.
It took me several hours to download it from Filefront. Fail Filefront is fail.
You'll be doing a NASA Launch Commentator.
Do want!

So... later.
Making a journal about this was pretty pointless, there's a thread going in the forum about this.
msgbox "Warning! Trojan detected in (location). The Computer will now throw itself out of the window.", vbcritical, "Detection!"

And if you do, film it.
Translation: Nine drinks under 30 seconds.
No big deal.
Erm... hide.
Ep2 boots up in like 5/6 seconds!
The guy owning you-pc.nl is actually a friend of mine, i know him for more than 10 years now, so i got a little off the original price (?1000+).
mat_parallax turns out to be an unkown command. Should'nt it be mat_parallaxmap? I tried it anyway, and there was no difference.
Bummer.
Maybe you can post some comparison screenshots?

Not a single frameskip or lagspike. Win.
@ Unb and CR: No more XP for me.
One month of Vista, then 7.
The new Batman game for example also has PhysX support and there are more games will follow.
The PPU will take over the physics calculations done by the GPU, giving the GPU even more resources to calculate and render graphics.
Ill let you know what i think about your map later.
