Absolutely incredible use of the Vanilla Half-Life textures! It was a tad bit dark, but that's seriously my only complaint. The use of colors and multiple light sources is fantastic. The map is very much alive and every single area is teeming with detail. I can see that you put a lot of work into this and I definitely think this is gold medal material.
Wow zeeba! Very, VERY well done. You've set a wonderful theme, and the general ambiance is spot on. I enjoyed the triggers. It made me want to help but I was helpless to do so.
Thanks Captain! I never noticed, but my gamma was around 80% when I made this. I played it again with a 50% gamma and It was a bit darker, but I don't think it's too bad. It's a night map anyway Thanks for the kudos I put a few minutes into it each day until I had a free Friday night and cranked out the rest!

download it and type "idkfa" you get turned into a chicken and a message displays "Trying to cheat eh?" It's temporary, but good fun in the first level. You can fly and peck enemies.

All you need is a few multisources! I made a zombie hunt map before It was fun.
I like the vanilla asset idea because then we don't need coding. However, it'd be neat if you could toss a counter in there and have a 'Par' like doom. Secrets found / Total Secrets.
It'd be like finding the 8 red coins in super mario 64

@ Stu - They closed the roads for 2 days. The first bridge went up 12 hours ahead of schedule and the second one only took 4 hours to complete after that. I guess they figured out the trick to it after the first section. @ Scotch - You really don't have to worry about fucking up until you're a P.E. Once you take a state-certified test, you become a legitimate Professional Engineer and have a serial numbered/registered stamp that you place onto approved drawings. Other than that, Engineers work as a team, and the driving factor is getting a job done right. It's just a bunch of smart people working together as a team; they want to be proud to be associated with their work. @ Archie - More pics and stuff can be found here: http://www.earthcam.net/projects/ctdot/interstate84/?cam=cam1

Thanks Captain! My days are full and pass quickly. I wake up, go to work, and by the time i'm done with dinner and stuff, its 8:00. Then the girlie wants to watch GoT or something So what little time is there is spent appeasing the significant other lmao. Oh well.
Oh btw, Scotch; as soon as source 2 drops to the community, I'm diving in and I would LOVE to write another

I like it! It reminds me of an early PopCap game. However, if you spam spacebar after starting the reels, you can essentially freeze the first reel. After that, its only a matter of time before the diamond shows up on the second, and well.. Yeep. Lots of money for me!
I half expected there to be a random option. Just pull the lever and watch your money go away like the real slots. And on traditional slots, the active lines increase with the bet, almost like a multiplier. But you increase the chances for free. Which is good for the consumer

Haha nothing like another book. I'm making a game with the Unreal 4 tools with a group of my friends. It's a pretty ambitious project so it might not see the light of day. But if we get a strong alpha, I'll let you guys know.
But anything that I said I would do, like enter any mini compos or anything.. I probably don't have time for them. That and I STILL haven't graduated yet. God. School is such a time-leech.

Sorry to hear Archie I got a kitty not too long ago and he's the man. Cat's are wonderful companions and are part of the family. My deepest condolences go out to you. The pain of loss does not outweigh the many years of happiness you have gotten from his company. Give yourself time to reflect and heal, then get another cat. No animal will ever replace the ones you have lost, but it never hurts to open your heart to another friendship. I Wish you the best.

Rim, you have some absolutely incredible works here as a portfolio. Collect them all and slap them into a presentable website, hunt for level design jobs?

Well in any case, aside from trolling about operating systems; since XP, exiting command prompt will save any changes made to text size. I know this from programming across 3 platforms in Command prompt (xp, vista, 7)
So unless you're exiting it improperly... No idea. Maybe there's a system option for default text size? But that might globally affect the system. Try sending the 'exit' command instead of closing it some other way.

Awesome! Congrats on the win Instant Mix! I was always super jealous of devs who could piece together a game in 2 days. I imagine it's a fantastic exercise in time and priority management.
I'll have to check this out when I'm home.
I would toss it in the appstore if you could manage to get low latency networks working.
Hope all is well!
Life takes priority and continues to do so for me as well. Best of luck and thank's for dropping by

Best thing to do is add links within the description.
