I'm pretty sure the world government would fly planes into U.S. buildings before they ever got a sense of humor. Or before Jeff gets a sense of humor, for that matter.

Oh jeez, they are. That's the most terrible realization in the world. As it is, only about a third of the forum content is about mapping anyway, and now I realize that nobody's even using it.

My cartridge still works terrifically, along with all my other N64 games. Too bad my controller is a worn out piece of shit that literally hurts your thumb to move the joystick.

I say, hogging the journals again are we?
Don't get too excited Raver, I find it hard to believe a doctor visiting the computer hardware capital of the world would have trouble getting on the internet.
Oh, and have fun Satchmo.

This sounds strikingly similiar to Heart of Evil, which was just annoying as hell because 90 percent of the time you had absolutely no idea where you were going or what you were doing, and you'd just end up totally lost in this maze of maps. As far as I'm concerned, any more than 4 level changes per map is downright confusing to the player. I even remember getting mixed up the first time I went through Office Complex.

You aren't by any chance building on a one unit grid, are you? Because that will seriously screw with you after a while, and all the textures get misaligned and stuff.
Could use less boxy architecture, but honestly if you've got outstanding gameplay I could care less about how it looks. Might I suggest more colorful and darker lighting, though? Everything's so bright.

Seems like $500 could have gone to a better cause than funding this guy's campaign ads/dinner parties/limo rides/YouTube account management... but hey, it's a free country, and it sure as hell isn't my money.

Wow, weak. I've been shaving my face regularly since I turned 15. However I've never come anywhere close to having sex with a girl (or boy for that matter :S ), so you're way ahead of me, partner.
And don't put that shit on your car, seriously. It'll just look like hell. eBay it ASAP and put it towards a turbo kit or new computer or something worthwhile.

Saw, only reason those GTA games were "balls" for you was probably because you weren't using a gamepad, were you? It's unbelievable how much they enhanced the graphics in San Andreas.
Oh and by the way, no that's not just Penguinboy's opinion. It's only common sense that PC's have a higher potential than consoles, and there's nothing about being a PC that prevents them from playing a game the same as a console.

Captain Terror: Yeah, as I said, the weights seem like a real gimmick to me. I guess really "hardcore" gamers (or people who game at all?) would notice the difference, but I wouldn't. Without any weights, it's just the same as the mx518 which was perfect for me. As for the size of the mouse, it's the same standard frame Logitech gaming mice have used for a while. It's not massive like that Mx Revolution, but it's not small either.
pepper: I agree, I think by the third day of use I'm already breaking in/getting used to the center scroll button. The rattling I commented on wasn't severe, and I'm certain the mechanism is functioning correctly, I just like my computer equipment to be simple and stout. I don't think it would actually fall apart under normal use, but I have been known to get rough in times of frustration.
Satchmo: The tracking really is fantastic, I've just never been confronted with a situation where I have to use my desktop mouse on an undesireable surface. I think it'd be more useful on a cordless mouse, where you could literally go and sit on the couch with it or something. As it is, even my crummy Logitech Premium Optical Mouse tracks as good as the G5 does on my desk, so I can't reasonably compare.

Glad your kid's developing well, Satchmo. It's good that you're proud of your child and all, just don't get TOO proud or it might start to sound like bragging.
And yeah Striker, I so lol'd at your way of thinking! No that's not a lol. That was a bad mistake. I don't think you could have screwed up any better. Maybe you need to learn some English speech patterns before attempting your so-called sarcasm, or even typing another poorly formed sentence. Way to go.

The picture isn't working, you know....
I have an old Logitech X-530 5.1 system, and the specs sound the same as the ones you posted. It's fun to shake the house with the bass and all, but after a while that gets pretty boring. The sound quality is much improved if you turn the bass something like halfway up. I got them because they only cost me like 50 bucks.

Hey, I'm not saying it's bad for you - I'm sure it's way better than all that overly processed store brought crap out there. I'm just saying it's a really disgusting process making them. Just because I want to buy new clothes doesn't mean I want to see the sweat shop they were made in. Okay, bad comparison.

Oh, and have fun Satchmo.
I would fail worse at being a doctor than I do on my Geometry tests.
Oh, and you never do feel older right on your birthday. It only hits you a third of the way into the year.

The glass dividers look cool though.
