Carrot, I had the opportunity but my coworker took my spot because he knew I had to play a show on Friday night haha. (Atlas went up at 6:36 AM EST)
When we support launches, we have to get there 7 hours before launch time to do system checks and oversee fueling. I would have had to get there at around 11pm on Thursday night. Launch days are long days.
I'll be there for the next one whenever that is.
Also yes. The starliner had an incorrect mission clock set. We don't know HOW it was erroneously set (I'm thinking human error) but it tried to hold to a different flight path and burned a LOT of fuel in doing so.
Because of that, the capsule could not rendezvous with the ISS.
If the capsule had a crew, they would have caught the mistake and would have fixed it in time to make a course correction.
Regardless, the launch itself was a success and the capsule will make it home safe.

I'm not employed by United Launch Alliance. My company designed and installed the system that I oversee during launches. So I'm allowed into the control room in case something happens... Then I'll help ULA the employees figure it out.
Our programmer is great though so the system is pretty bulletproof at this point.
I bought a japanese pull hand saw because i'm sick of the western push style crappy ones and i'm too cheap to buy a proper table saw / circular saw.
That and i bought a custom wrench to fit on one of my guitars because OF COURSE THEY NEED A CUSTOM TOOL TO ADJUST THE NECK. shakes fist at Jackson Guitar Company

Ohhh don't you worry I'm in a crapload of debt haha. I was saving for years to afford the down payment and closing costs. I had some help from family too.
The house is 2 years old and is built to the latest building codes - can withstand wind gusts of 150mph (242kmh). You know, gotta protect against those hurricanes.
I love my Jetta; i plan to put a turbo in it soon. What has you confused about them?
I've been modeling the house in blender so i can see how furniture will fit before i buy any. Expect a map to come out soon. Ill do GS and S versions haha
YES! Congrats!! You should print up your own business cards and hand em out to any contacts you make while there. It's a cheap way to market yourself and it helps your image drastically.

Windows 10 is fine. I don't love it but I don't see anything particularly wrong with it. I disabled everything about Cortana as soon as I could. I disabled all location snooping settings, I deleted all the tiles off my start menu so it's closer to Win7.
The settings menu is absolutely terrible, but you can find most things using windows search.
On that same note, you can also disable windows search from searching the web.
I also second the caution to SAVE YOUR WORK!! The update function is stupid. But it is what it is.

My heart hurts for you. We as humans are capable of feeling so many emotions. Let yourself feel them; let yourself be sad. Art is a wonderful way to cope. Let it flow.

Looks good. Don't cheap out the power supply. And you might have a hard time finding cheap GPU because of all the people mining cryptocurrency right now.

It depends on if you want to do it as your main source of income or not.
With my band we can get anywhere from $200 - $500 per show but honestly we'll take just about anything so long as we can play somewhere.
That being said though, all the members have stable well paying jobs so music is just fun and the money we do get just gets re-invested into the band for equipment / gas money / studio time.

You're quite welcome! Thanks for taking the time to play all the maps in the vault so I don't have to! Not that I don't want to, but now I know which ones will be worth playing.

Better bone up on those Maths

Not that I don't want to, but now I know which ones will be worth playing.
I've done this before with someone in Italy and it works surprisingly well.
I'll just have to keep a better eye on the ACTUAL time differences.
I vote for anything you draw. Drawful or the T-shirt battle
Looks pretty!
