"Welcome to the 970 Club. Please make yourself at home, just...stay off the carpet. I know it takes up an eighth of the room, but...there's no floor under it."
I went with the i5 because I didn't see a need to spend another $150, just for Hyper Threading and 0.5GHz. As for the drives, worst case scenario, I have to re-download my games. It would suck, but we've had serveral different levels of WD drives and a Seagate, and only the latter's failed.

Two if you're lucky.
He hasn't told us if it's a hard drive or SSD though. It could be like mine, with a smaller SSD for Windows and clients (Steam/Origin/etc.), and high capacity storage for the games.

I'd be interested but it'll be another 2.5 - 3 weeks before I can get a PC that can run it.
EDIT: I also don't own the game yet, and Steam`s autumn and winter sales (spring and summer for the southerners) had their dates leaked. My anaemic wallet will likely prefer I wait.

Some of the textures are missing (the walls on the building on the island and the floor of the upper area in the upper right of the picture for example) and it seems to be difficult to get off the ladders.

A gun?! o.O
I didn't get a gun...but I went thru the tunnel, so I didn't have a chance at the 'fire flower'.
My complaint is about the ending. The map didn't quit itself. I was stuck on a black screen w/ an error scrolling in console (didn't think to copy it :P).

I had an idea, but in my attempts to work with Rowley's and my ideas for the hollow torus on a larger scale failed, my fear that it was Source bound was confirmed. I still appreciate the help though, rowley.

Wow, that looks great...'cept for my texture work (I'm learnin')
I've really got to remember to check in on areas I'm submitted to so I can see stuff like this sooner. Thanx for the compile info Nin, I'm gonna add in hlfix now and get back to work on the map that was made for.

Before and after updating, I tried to submit a 'other problem' bug report, and was greeted with this lovely message.
Other than that it's a beautiful map.

I've seen better but your outdoor additions (the puddles and the clouds) are awesome.
