very interesting mod. could use some speeding up to be engaging. feels really bland.

Fighters are too easy and shooting backwards makes it too easy.

fy = fight yard, meaning you get weapons on the floor (for CS).

Change the game to CS, it's misleading

I really like the idea, I'm gonna try to make something like this myself. Maybe port some doom levels with some adjusted HL elements.

I'd rate it 3 right now because:
- unfinished
- lacking details
- open areas need tweaking, zombies gotta be more of a hallway monster (the first room I'd replace zombies with houndeyes)
- needs more keycard gameplay
- I'd like to see more colored lighting / more tone / ambience

But I liked:
+ lacking details, all you need is good ol' quake architecture and you got some of it right.
+ keycards
+ showcases Brutal HL mod well

yeah see that's the problem, there's no fun getting killed by something you don't see (yet) and then spectate for a long while, just to do that again. Unless you do this on purpose to train your survival skills. Vanilla is casual

Thanks for your input! In hammer lighting is different than in game right? I should fix those stairs somehow. I'm not sure how to texture it though, or what to add next.

From most points of view this map could very well be in Unreal. It's very well made. I agree, green and red are too intense and iritating, but lighting is awesome. I've played with bots and got stuck in a corner at spawn. Other than that it's flawless. Great work!
