Back in college again 
I started my C++ coding class, as well as some other computer classes. I might have some questions here and there, and I know some of you do some coding, so if and when I need help I would appreciate it
As far as my new map/models go, Im working on them, but I dont have as much time anymore so Im sad facing it up
Now for some random gripes I have with games Ive played this summer:
Chrome hounds:
SP sucks
Online you have to wait through multiple "connecting with Chromehounds server" messages every time the menu screen changes!
Average wait time to get into a game is 5 minutes because everyone is an asshole in the briefing room!

My first journal entry! I have been here awhile but never got into writing in my journal.
Right now I am deciding one what mod to map my next map on. I just finished my Half-Life 2 Deathmatch map and am trying to get it on a server. You can check it out here is you want.

The one thing I am considering on my new map is not to make it clich? and overused. Like making a city map in HL2. I always try to make my maps unique.

It's an important milestone. I've been working tirelessly at it for the past week.

First day back, in sixth form (NO UNIFORM WOO! 
). And the place has changed big style.
All the lower school are now forced to wear Blazers and Ties, so when I went to the bus stop i beleived i had stumbled on a Mafia meeting (it was 8 in the morning, the time my functions are most limited).
Similarly when we were getting off the bus, some year 10 said "hurry the f**k up!" to me. So I turned around to correct the dissillusioned child when i was shocked due to her height. The conversation went like this:
"There is no need for that sort of --- jesus christ you're small :o"
My Ecomonmics class rocks with a grand total of 4 people.
The southern fence now comes complete with barbed wire. A sign saying "Work Shall Set You Free" is expected any day now...

Hello Mr.Good Map! This is your 265th login. : I made my first source map! Its kinda sh*t , but at least its very similar so i can kinda handle it. 
Arr, I'm making progress on my map! Layout is done, now I have to start detailing and adding textures, screenies to come.
LAPTOP!... in about 4 or 5 weeks... still saving up money and getting equipment. I got something that will help with data transferring from my old comp to my new one. If it works, i don't lose a thing! So all my stuff is safe.
School started on Monday..

Still working slowly on Leap of Faith. Sidetracked by life plus ytmnd (http://ytmnd.com/users/DarkTree/). Also working on another mod called Archimedae. And other maps as well. Well, this is my one journal entry per year.....see you next time!
Back to college this thursday. I only have 2 days a week for classes. 15 credits (Average is 12), 5 classes. They start at 9 in the morning, and end around 10 at night. Sounds rough, but its only tues and thurs. I figure 3 days for study and work, 2 for play (mappin, modelin, etc) Im going to need to get some loans my 3rd year. My scolarship money covered the 1st 2 years along with other grants, but soon Im going to need some loans. Feel free to mail me money if you want
As far as mapping goes, Im working on my HL2-SP map. Im really working hard to make this a unique experience thats fun, and feels different from Hl2. You can take a look at its progress here:

Im been working on and off on my man model. Im mainly focused on my models for my map now, and materials.
Unfortunately the work will slow down when I start college again, but thats ok.
Time to get crackin on my mappin work!
