See if "impulse 108" still works, and if it works on the water surface rather than the texture underneath.

Nah, it's perfectly fair, he being at Uni, I believe. I'll e-mail him when I've finished my messaging system and integrated it with the version of the code I have to some degree (a feasibility demonstration, or whatever they're called).

Use the Source SDK launcher, found in your Steam Games menu.

I would honestly have to suggest you decompile cs_siege. Use WinBSP and have a look. The brushes it produces will be nasty, but you should be able to get a hang of the entities.

Hammer doesn't use .NET. You're probably thinking of GCFScape.

Racer, I'd suggest you upgrade all your graphics drivers (graphics card and motherboard AGP ones) and DirectX. Then try reinstalling Hammer.

iPod shuffles seem completely pointless. I had a 512MiB generic MP3/WMA player, left it on a train. No big deal, really. I was considering getting a Rio Karma but they appear to fuck up all the time :(.

I'm sure you don't have to. Bear in mind that they actually finally made a "server" operating system which was actually evidently intended for servers. Although they left IE in.

In Paint Shop Pro, it's Ctrl+Shift+0 to go to full-color, then Ctrl+Shift+3 to go back to palleted 256-colour (which you need for HL).

Yeah? No point in adding extra features to the editor which aren't supported by the game.

I can't say I've ever seen reason to use env_funnel. My suggestion would be not to, I'm afraid. I imagine it's rather a limited entity (why wouldn't it be? You only see it once in HL, I think).
