A spirit map will play in Half-Life but all the spirit special effects, such as movewith, rain, fog etcetra will not be there/not be working.

There is - add a game_player_equip, switch smartedit off and add weapon_nightvision 1. It might be item_nightvision, not entirely sure there.

@Zombie: About the light previewing, I am kinda confused. Does it just show the lighting that you already have, or if you add new lights will it show them too(after doing the bsp thing)? When you say lighting and graphics dissapointed you, do you mean you actually have HL2 so that you can run your maps?!The light preview didnt work, it crashed wc.exe as I told you. 2nd question SEE ABOVE
