If all gun crime dissapears due to gun laws, then we'll have knife crime. If we ban all bladed objects and bladed objects crime dissapears, we'll have pepper spray crime. Eventually we'll all be wearing strait jackets.
Each student killed was a person, not a bunch of polygons. Their family and friends nutured and loved them and they were set for a bright future. In just a few seconds, the shooter ended all of that.
Also, i'm disgusted big media decided to air the contents of the package the shooter sent to NBC. It's not like we don't know what'll be in it: the ramblings of a disturbed person. The shooter sent the package to NBC to get attention and he got it.
Why the fuck would I upgrade a Xbox? The games run fine and look better and better as time goes on. I don't have performance decreasing bugs/ glitches on the scale of PCs.
And this is why I want a Xbox 360 instead of a gaming PC. You don't have to sink $1,500+ for a cutting edge computer that's neccesary to smoothly play the latest games. Even if you do have a cutting edge computer, you have to maintain it (your performance drops anyways), there's weird glitches and developers still provide for low end users. That's one year of newest games, max settings. Then you have to deal with low fps and ugly settings again.
I downloaded and installed the K-lite codec but trying to play a DVD comes up with another error.
"Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings."
First, it came in an automatic update. Second, WMP is just there. It's convinient and just two clicks away from anywhere in Windows. Do you know how to play DVDs in WMP 11 or not?
Does anyone know how to play a DVD in Windows XP with Windows Media Player 11? Despite the new look of 11 and integration of shitty subscription store, WMP still can't play DVDs! Surely there has to be a way to play DVDs on a home computer. My 2nd gen region-free DVD player works fine but I have to un-plug the cable box to use the only avaliable component video ports for progressive scan.

I can't wait until they release DRM-free 320Kbps AAC files for 1.99. They'll explain away the price hike as the privledge of not being saddled with DRM and "owning" a "high quality" compressed file and the same suckers will go out and rebuy their music in a file format that's still compressed and has their name plastered all over it. That's right, the digital watermaking part of Fairplay is still there.
I finished copying the disc with this crippled version of recordnow and it's a 1:1 copy for all I know,
P.S. This is far from illegal. The disc is in shitty condition with deep scratches all over it. I'm copying it to save the music on it. I believe this falls under fair use as a archival copy in the US.
Do you have enough electricity running to the card? Is it overheating? Did you properly install the drivers (deleted old ones with Driver Cleaner Pro, then install the new ones, all in Safe Mode)? When was the last time you checked for viruses/ spyware/ etc? Can you give some system specifications? Have you tried re-installing CS:S? What are some of the latest things you've installed or changed on your computer? Does Steam run normally? How do other 3D games run? What operating system are you on?
Half of Vista's sell was DX10 (the other was the new transparent UI). Why would Microsoft waste time writing a decent OpenGL (what Hammer uses) solution? Save your Vista discs/ serial number for later and re-install XP.
When you get to the rocket launching building, jump up and push the launch button from outside. Then jump on the rocket as it takes off. It'll take you to Xen.
