No, the default is 0. It adds extra data in each tick, or something.

Thanks for that, Rabid.

That's blatantly automated too, albeit possibly tidied up. It still has "logged" in English!

host_framerate is strange. host_timescale is more useful, because 'host_timescale 1' produces normal speed, 0.5 renders half-speed, etc.

Small 'm' means a millionth. Very very big difference from M.

I get 240KB/s easily on my ADSL :P.

Incidentally, 'b' means bits. 'B' is bytes.

That concludes today's lesson.

Two millibits, eh? Hardly speedy :P.

I think the background works pretty nicely. I'd say the text'd be best right-aligned, but that's on 1024x768, at 800x600 (slightly more common still), it might look better different.

Always have all your Hammer/HL stuff on the same drive. You could try writing a batch file to compile it yourself if you know what you're doing.

Depends on the graphics card rendering it in the end. I mean, Voodoo 3's don't support textures larger than 128x128, if my memory serves me correctly. I guess they use a MIPed version the whole time ? or maybe it just doesn'a work.
