Whenever I change the screensaver to the one with the rotating text, it also freezes the system..

Yep, everytime I Open HLMV, all goes well, then when I open a model to view, It freezes up the system... I'm thinking its because I need some drivers for OpenGL.. can someone help?

I don't have the specs yet, I'll get a printout for it tonight, and post it once I got my wireless connection going..

Thats right guys, I just bought a new $1600 PC. Specs are'nt perfect but its good. Main thing, is I'll be able to start my half-life stuff up again! I'm excited.

Went to install Half-Life 1 Anthology, and got that damn 'Unable to find Steam.dll.' error.. so I'll have to fix that.. anyone else have that problem? How do I fix it. I ran into the problem a while ago as well, I just forgot how I fixed it.. I think it has something to do with the directory... Anyways guys.. be back soon.

I got an idea for twhl3.

why not have a button on every start of a thread page which allows you to view all the pictures posted in the thread once clicked. This way we don't have to go through each individual page of a long thread looking for a certain picture. they can all be thumbnailed as well..
What do you guys think?

ok, I did it, but nothing really happens. No VGUI to pick your teams shows up, and the game_text for the different teams does'nt show.

What I want this deathmatch map to do is when you start, you pick you team, and are started with the weapons listed. (There will be no ammo/weapon pickup)

you can install programs through Wordperfect. Thats what I did, you right click on the toolbar, and go to add, then add the install program that you downloaded, once added, you should see a little icon on wp toolbars, click it and install.
Now once thats installed to a certain directory, go and add another app to the toolbar, this time, select the games exectutive file, and add.
Once added, click on it in wp, and walla! The game launches.

I did this with an old silent hill demo, worked like a charm.
