I created a wad with wally by mergeing wads from blue-shift, half-life, tfc, opforce, and a from a sp mod called todesangst. is this a good idea?
it over 100 Mb.

yes, any trigger can trigger a sentry to activate like say in the chapter "weve got hostiles" in the original gam the "laser" triggered the the little tripod mounted guns but actually there was a trigger_multiple over the laser. made a barney do the exact same thing once. and another thing sentry activates whenever they are shot at or they are triggered. but there was some that activated when they "saw" you, this is done using large trigger_multiple I suppose.

I once made a map with a red laser going in between two "projectors" used a trigger once and put around the laser made it target a multi manager targeting an env_explosion, an env_shake. then made a barney walk into the laser :P but i deleted it :( sorry.

oh yeah, reformatted my system not to recently cant find my counter-strike CD it'll be in half-life then but the same method should work in CS.

I'm making a map with to env_beams bouncing around a room with the flag ring checked and I want the to hurt the player but it won't do it. I uncheck ring it works fine but the ring effect is crucial help please.

I'll try to breif it here. Pressing shift+a will bring up the texture aplication tool, now the selection tool and camera tool still work. use the camera tool to navigate to one of the object then click the selction tool and select the side thes are refered to as faces. browse for the texture you want and click apply and adjust as desired.

Thanks, fade in method works fine but the text causes it half-life to crash while its doing the whole console thing :x any other methods?

type pointfile into your console it will say reading pts and the give you somthin like this "XXX points read" XXX being a number then noclip around you map and look for a line of black and yellow dots fowlow the the dots and it should lead you to the leak.

I'm making a map for the talking scientists compo everything was going fine until I added the following 5 point entities

trigger_auto
multi_manager
game_text
env_fade

then when I compiled it I reicived the error "could not find the file specified" the file being hlbsp. I tried deleting them and it worked fine.
don't tell me to start over because I've been working on it for a while.

my archs keep messing i don"t any more side than 28 but it some time ends up with sub-unit vertices :x heck one time it made a diamond.
