That way you're not going to have conflicts and files possibly being read twice (which'd be a waste of time).

I'd definitely get the monitor from somewhere else. There's a 17" TFT with 12ms response and double the contrast on aria.co.uk, here. That's $262 for a much better monitor ? plus Aria have a dead pixel check service for $25ish to make sure you don't suffer any!

I'd get RAM with a CAS latency of 2 if you could, too, as opposed to 2.5.

I think PCIe 1x is solely intended to replace the bus for things like network adapters, sound cards, whilst 16x is primarily for 3D accelerators at the mo'.

You can, actually, if you use an env_beam/_laser, give multiple entities the target name, and tick "random strike". Try looking it up on the VERC and our Entity Guide.

You can trigger randomly by using an env_beam and/or env_laser, and having multiple other entities with the target name of the beam entity. Might also need to tick "random strike" in the beam flags.

PCI is not a graphics bus really. Definitely use AGP or, perhaps if you're feeling more adventurous, PCIe.

Excuse me, Fox, I think from your posts it's pretty obvious that I can type better English than you.

The noun is 'practice', i.e. medical.

The verb is 'practise', for example "practise your spelling" :P. You obviously can't have a plural noun, just can have stuff like "he practises".

Oh, and gargantua, the term is a "mass noun", like 'water' or 'data'.

That's post-compile. Do what I said before. Also, download Zoner's tools and use those (hlcsg, hlbsp, hlvis, hlrad) instead of the Quake tools that you're using ? see the News page for the link.

Post-compile, I'm almost certain.

Simplest solution: don't tick "Run game after compile" and play your map manually after it's done (see the Running a BSP tutorial).

On a similar note:
First you get down on your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
Everybody say his own
Kyrie eleison,
Doin' the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
Step into that small confessional.
There the guy who's got religion'll
Tell you if your sin's original.
If it is, try playin' it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
Two, four, six, eight,
Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman;
Ave Maria,
Gee, it's good to see ya.
Gettin' ecstatic an' sorta dramatic an'
Doin' the Vatican
Rag!
