Pata, you shouldn't have problems with short x [surfaces/corners] unless you're running in the ancient Software rendering mode ? which you should almost certainly not be doing. Look in Options -> Video to change to OpenGL if you're not already using it.

Erm, you do, or nobody does. Nobody else is very likely to care about what other people think of somebody else's grammar.
Use OpenGL. I suspected it might be this from the start, and this will correct the issue. Direct3D'll work too, but not as well on most cards.
Try TFMapped is my advice.

Try doing so by right-clicking the item on the Games list and clickin' "Remove local game content" (or similar).
It's calculating visibility things, determining what is visible from where to avoid having to draw everything all the time.
Are the glass panes entities? If they're not, I'm slightly suprised because entities usually aren't taken into consideration for visibility calculation.

If you don't have it, then it's a bigger problem, one that is not going to be repaired by just putting the file in the right place. 83-1 it'd immediately be "cannot find <new.dll>".

I'd suggest seeing if physboxes falling from a great height onto a player incur damage to him... might just not be the way things're coded. Maybe you could use models instead, I don't know.

You can't get barney to do something when used, as far as I know. When approached, yes. Use:
- a trigger_once
- a multimanager
- a scripted_sequence
- something to be activated by barney pressing the button
