Make [ pre ] tags render text properly and recognise tabs.
That should be easy. All he has to do is use CSS's white-space. Like this:
<code style="white-space: pre;">Code with tabs, spaces, newline characters etc.</code>

I agree with PB/Rim, we're better off without it. The forums would be filled with videos. I do however want an [audio] tag. All modern browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari and the next version of IE) support HTML5's audio tag and can play Microsoft Wave or Vorbis files (the HTML5 spec state that they have to be able to play Microsoft Wave files). It would be really simple for you to program.

The first 16 years of my life I lived in a small village in south-west Sweden with a population of a little less than a thousand people. It was an alright place to live (it has an ice cream factory!). I then moved a few kilometers north to where I live now, in Falkenberg. Everyone in my family is Swedish, AFAIK.

I disagree. The first 3 games lacked structure, you just had a list of tasks to do and were given a time limit to do them. The introduction of free-roaming in THPS4 was the best thing that could have possibly happened to the franchise.
I think the time limits kept the games simple and added structure, but I'm OK with free-roaming. Let me break down my experiences with the later Tony Hawk games. Oh and I like TFC and TF2 about the same - I think they're both good games.

In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 you got to fly jetpack, jump 200 metres in a shopping kart, listen to instructions and got to know all the stars... in other do words less skateboarding. I found it very frustrating. The only positive I can say about the game is that the soundtrack was an improvement from earlier games.

I haven't played Underground enough to give it a fair judgement. I played a few maps in the GBA version and it was fun, so I should probably give it another chance. I've only tried the PC version once.

One thing I really don't like about - and what made me stop playing - Underground 2 is that many of the missions are focused on committing as many crimes as possible and being an annoying bastard. "World Destruction Tour"!? Then there's the mechanical bull...

Down Hill Jam for GBA - just looking at it makes you want to hide under a bed for days, playing it makes you want to hide for weeks.

Super Smash Bros Brawl - One of my favorite games. It was awesome to begin with, and it can only get better.
I've only played the first game and it's one of my favourite games. I should really get a Wii so I can play the other games in the series and so I can play Epic Mickey when it comes out.

I'm probably the only active member of TWHL that don't like HL2, Ep1, Ep2 or Portal and isn't very excited about their sequels.

To which games do you want *quels the most?

My list:
Broken Sword - I don't care if it's 2D or 3D, I love all the Broken Sword PC games except #2 which was a huge disappointment.
Deus Ex - I'm looking forward to playing Deus Ex 3, I really hope they don't screw up...
Counter-Strike - I want a new Counter-Strike with new weapons and more gameplay modes. They shouldn't have removed es_ or the m4a1 scope and the shield's missing in CS: S.
Half-Life - I would like another game like Opposing Force, Uplink, Decay or Blue Shift, which takes place during the same period of time as the original Half-Life.
Age of Empires - III sucked, buildings were built to fast and everything happened too fast - you could be doing great one second and the next you're dead - while in the first games it could take fifteen minutes getting through a wall. Strategy games don't need 3D graphics.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Please, please make a prequel!
Warcraft III - Warcraft III is the only WC game I like. I wish Blizzard would stop making WoW expansions and make another WC RTS.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - After the third game, the series turned shit. I don't want to ride on a mechanical bull or play "Jackass", I want to collect S-K-A-T-E and find the secret tape. I want a new TH game based on the original concept.
Virtua Squad 2 - VC2 is possibly the best game every created. You're a cop who shoot bad guys using your mouse or lightgun. One day, I'll make my own unofficial sequel with lots of maps. 3 just isn't enough.
Day of Defeat: Source
Elastomania
Midtown Madness

in Compiling doesn't love me Post #280371
3. You hit the userdefined keyboard combination to begin the compilation process for the map you're working on (provided that the Compilator has been correctly set up).
4. After hearing the compilation successfull sound queue, you hit another keyboard combination which will launch the game/mod and the map.

All without leaving Hammer's focus.
You know what I think would be even more useful? One userdefined keyboard combination to compile your map and launch the game/mod and your map (if hl.exe is not already running).

Last time I checked, SVG backgrounds worked in Chrome and Safari. I think it works in Opera as well.
Edit: Works in Chrome and Opera, not in Safari. Safari however supports (non-standard) CSS background gradients.

When I get back from my programming class, I'll write a demo page with endless rays working in "all" browsers except IE. I don't care if Habboi uses it or not, I just think it's fun messing with SVG, a language I wish I knew more of. Also I have to admit I think it's great fun proving a fellow programmer wrong.

You could use an SVG image for the ray background, then the rays can go on forever. I don't think Firefox can use SVG images as backgrounds but it does support CSS background gradients. IE9 supports SVG but I don't know about SVG images as backgrounds, I haven't been able to install the test version because it requires Windows Vista or 7.

Same goes for PNG. BMPs are uncompress, while PNGs use lossless compression.
