This usually means that render modes are messing up in certain graphics settings. I read that somewhere, maybe the VERC or here.

If you are using ZHLT you can also create the HOM effect by null-texturing a wall. I believe your map will still be correctly lit after you do this.

Can't you just trigger it more than once? I've never tried, but the only apparently-relevant flag is "Fire once", so if you leave that unchecked then it'd make sense for it to be repeatable.

If that doesn't work, try ticking the "concurrent" and "interrupt speech" flags. I had to do that once to get a scientist to speak at all.

Finally, it's occured to someone that it's a little pointless discussing all these changes when there's no-one here to make them ;)

Maybe all the traffic from Rust will help. We got mentioned on their news page and they get half a million hits a day; maybe atom'll drop by and make the site even better still :)
